It was online counseling since there was a pandemic going on. My rank was around 11000 so I opted till the last rounds. In the first round I got DSATM ISE, I accepted that and went for acceptance and upgrade. In the second round, my branch got upgraded and I got CSE in the same college and again I went for acceptance and upgrade. In the third round, I received JSSATE ISE. An additional round was conducted where I got NMIT ISE and I froze the seat here. I was from the general category so no quota was for me. The cutoff for the round in which I opted was 11600. I was just a little under the boundary.

I heard and also researched a lot and I found out that the maximum placements were there in this branch so I took this. Faculties are good. Just don't bunk classes. Otherwise, there is no problem with passing exams. Mid-term exams are conducted once a month almost.

In the ISE branch definitely, students are getting placed. If you have worked hard enough you can crack a package of 6lpa+ easily. Recently one of a girl grabbed a package of 21lpa in PayPal. It all depends on students that how hard they have worked enough as companies do visit. But the competition is among 200 students in your particular branch.

Fees hikes yearly for coming batches. The fees criteria depends upon the mode of admission through which you are getting in. If you are coming through KCET fees will be around 70000 for a year. If comedk then around 2 L a year.

There are various clubs like hackclub, competitive coding, ecell, cultural clubs for extracurricular activities. Anandyanta is the famous fest in our college. Books are available in the library. Due to the pandemic thing we are also not able to experience a lot of things and missing a lot of fun. Hopefully, everything gets back to normal soon.

Each room has double sharing for first-year students. It contains one bed, one table chair, one cupboard. Geyser facility is there. Mess food is alright. If you have already lived in hotels before then no problem otherwise a newbie will take time to adjust.
