Entrance Preview
UPSEE is the entrance exam I took, my rank was close to 12 k. I had to choose this college because its a semi government college. Its tuition fee is low as compared to any many other UPTU colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The approach at my time was mainly course completion. I felt lack of extra curriculum with respect to practical implementation. Our aim was ti only complete the syllabus provided by UPTU and prepare to get good marks in exam. Had there been more practical sessions, or softskill sessions or interview preparation session then it would have been very helpful.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship program provided. As a part of course we were supposed to complete mandatory industrial training and prepare a case study over it. So we did it from various organisations which offer vocational training. But it was paid training and no stipend was provided.
Placement Experience
The placements for my batch was very poor. We were the unlucky batch. Our seniors seniors though the placement percentage was low but they had campus recruitments in organisations like wipro, infosys, birlasoft etc. And From what I came to know our juniors also had better placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee is average, at my time it was 41 k plus other charges which adds upto 60 k annually. The hostel fee was also less, it was around 40k annually. This fee structure is way less from fee charged in any other UPTU colleges. As this is a government aided college , its fee is comparable less.
Campus Life
The male to female ratio was approximately 4:1. The lab facility was average. The main focus was on theoretical knowledge. Very less practical activities were carried out. The college did not encourage girls and boys hanging and grouping together. We could feel there Orthodox behaviour sometimes.
Exam Structure
As the college is affiliated to UP technical university, the exam was conducted by UPTU as well. The college has self centre for exam so no need to go to any other college to write exam. The questions were from UPTU issued syllabus. Level was average. But marking is very unpredictable in UPTU. Scoring 70 plus percentage is considered good.
Admission
After writing UPSEE exam, rank was declared. Then I participated in counselling in which I filled my choices in priority and I got this college allocated to me. Then I deposited some amount to lock this college and then went to the college at specified date to take admission.
