BCA Data analytics review

St Joseph's College was always on my wish list to join. Since I had a good percentage in 12th I directly applied here, not thinking of any other colleges. So after applying there was an interview after which there was a meeting with the hod. After all this process I finally got selected. The minimum percentage here being 75% to put an application.

First of all, for choosing this course I always find the field of computer science interesting. So data analytics is one of the emerging fields I chose for this course. The teachers are friendly and supportive and most of them hold a Ph.D. Since it is a new course introduced, the class consists of 65 people. Need to be good in mathematics and statistics to excel in this course. From the exam point of view, if we have concentrated in the class exam will be easy.

Internship opportunities are provided to everyone in the final to have hands-on training of that course. TCS and many other companies are associated with the college. Projects associated with the course are given, hence making us industry-ready and getting us placed in good companies.

The placements are quite good. To my information, the highest package being 11LPA offered once by Google from campus interview. Lowest being 2 LPA Most of the students get placed who have a good overall score. Companies like TCS, WIPRO, and other IT companies visit our college. After the 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Around 85% of students get placed. My plans after getting the degree would be to get a job and after a few years pursue masters.

The fee structure is reasonably good for this course. If you are doing good studies and other extracurricular activities you definitely seal a job. They provide internship opportunities in the final year. Since I'm still in the second year of college, I've not got any internship opportunities yet.

Once we enter St Joseph, you go crazy with all the club's fests and other activities in the college. There's always something happening in the college. You definitely going to enjoy campus life alongside studies. Pratibha being one of the happening fests of the college. They call up many celebrities and honorable people to take inspiration from. We get motivated to take up opportunities that we never did before. The sports section is really good and supportive for those who want to excel in that. We have a basketball court, badminton court, huge turf, gym, and other amenities to make use of. There are around 30 different clubs of different streams as well as NSS and NCC. We also have an engaging student council.
