Entrance Preview
I had given West Bengal joint Entrance Exam(WBJEE) and I got 38335 as a rank. It was not good at that time to get an admission in other branches except AEIE. So,I choose this branch as my destiny and currently I am enjoying it. The main Reason for choosing this college is that it is closer to my hometown and it has a very good placement record in this region(West Bengal).
Internships Opportunities
No,college does not provide any kind of internship except those which is been imposed by West Bengal Govt. Only the Govt. given Scholarship is been provided.Some minority student also get help from those Govt. scheme. But overall, College does not entertain any kind of Internship.
Placement Experience
Yes,this is a very interesting topic to write on. Actually, the placement Record of this College is very good over the past 5 to 6 years. The Gaint amount of placement is done by TCS. There are several companies also come for placement but they take few students only but TCS is a Gaint Recruiter. This year among 500 Hundred students 330 were placed in TCS.
College Events
This college is well versed with Festivals and competition. Every year we celebrate a cultural festival called LeganZZa. It was full of cultural activity like Dance, Singing, Mimicry, Stunt and the various events like Roadies,virtual Games and other sports as well. there is some Band and Musician were also participating in this event.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I said earlier college does not provide any kind of scholarship.But you can avail govt scholarship scheme. Actually, this college doesn't want to give you government scholarship scheme like WBFS. I don't know what is the reason but it is a fact.
Exam Structure
There is 2-semester Exam every year.so all total 8-semester exam in fours year B.tech Course.Each semester exam contained two unit test and five or four lab exam. Lab exam will happen before the final semester exam and of Hundred Marks with two credit point. I know few of you will not get what is this credit point but you will get to know it when you got admission in this college.
Faculty
Truly speaking all faculty are not good and up to the mark but some of them are really good and helpful. But ultimately it depends on you that how you tackle your course. In today's world, everything is available online.so, that is not a big problem for the students. Few faculty are really awful in teaching.i have experience of my department only.
