Golden Memories.

In the Last 3 years i did not notice anything bad about my college. I had the best 3 years in the past 3 years. First, my experience in college had given me a chance to sharpen my skills in my field of choice. There have been, and there will continue to be, many opportunities to learn more ways of improving my craft as a result of my time in school, which I am truly thankful for.

JECA Rank 426 because i have heard that RCC is one of the top most college in Kolkata . RCC provides 100% placements.

I was student of MCA (Masters of computer application) . we had 3 years course with 6 semester. In the first year we had digital,C programming,C with data structure programming, C++ programming and DBMS(SQL) lab classes. In the 2nd year we had Unix(Shell Programming),Advance DBMS(SQL),Graphics, Tally lab classes. And in the 5th semester we had java and visual basic. Apart from our curriculum subjects there was some special class to strong our knowledge they also provide us soft skills classes to improve our communication skills. In the Final year they arranged some technical class for preparing students for their campus interview.

Of course they provide internship to the final semester students But those who were interested to do internship. Internship was not mandatory. Students can also do major projects in the college. we had to give interview to get internship. But these were all non paid internship. company does not provide any kind of stipend to the students during the internship. In fact company does not even provide travel allowance. My internship experience was nice overall. I got a chance to learn PHP which helped me to get jobs in future.

Getting a job opportunities is very less. In our batch only TCS came for on campus. all others were pool campus where we had to go other college for interview procedure and there were always a huge number of candidates. And it was very hard to crack the aptitude test.The percentage of students who got jobs is very poor in our department (MCA). but in case of b.tech the percentage was not very poor at all. Because there were some companies who only recruit b.tech candidates.

There was loads of events in the college to celebrated from freshers to farewell. Cultural events was the main attraction of our college. we celebratred teacher's day, freshers welcome, farewell, sports fest, cultural fest.the Institute organizes TECH FEST (technical Fest) once in a year. In Tech Fest teams of single and multi-discipline students of the Institution take assignments on designing, fabricating, and demonstrating the outcomes of their designs in the forms of products such as robots and functional models as well as in the form of process charts / blueprints to explain the design of process or techniques.Table Tennis Bat,Table Tennis Ball,Table Tennis Net,Football,Volleyball,Carrom Coins,Carrom striker,Carrom board,Volleyball net these are the list of games which we enjoy.The Institute organizes annual cultural festival comprising of number of cultural activities like dance, drama, poetry, painting competitions etc. All these activities related to fine arts are highly important to ignite creativity and activate right brain power required for creative problem solving and designing products and processes with full sensitivity to people, environment, economics, traditions, and culture. The contributions of such budding designers are recognized by awarding best design awards as well citations.

Fee structure was not very expensive compared to any other private college. At the time of admission we had to pay 58,000 including the semester fees and all other expenses. In the second semester we had to pay 37000. In the third semester we had to pay 39000. In the fourth semester we had to pay 38000. In the fifth semester we had to pay 37000.In the final semester we had to pay 38000.

There is no loan facility by our college. But there is some subsidy facility after showing the income certificate of house. If the family income is very low college reduces the fees structure for them. And there is some scholarship facility for MS studies in aboard.

Many competitions are arragned by the final year students like coding competition,football and criket compitition, robotics, debates etc. Summer & Winter Trainings and Projects are arranged for 2nd to 4Th year B Tech Students and final year MCA students at different industrial as well as academic institutions. RCCs can implement crearive and suistainable solutions to meet a wide array of needs in their community, such as illiteracy, lac of safe water, hunger, pollution, inedequate housing or voactional skill development. Rotary Club of Semarang Kunthi held Training of plan stategy, management, and marketing for RCC.

There is no hostel facility in our college. But you can find lots of paying guest near RCC. We will find a well decorated canteen and cafeteria in College campus. The quality of the food in the canteen is good and tasty too. Atleast you wont have any stomach problem after eating the food. And Cafeteria is newly build and it is awesome.

College seniors were awesome. In fact we are still in touch through social media. They are very helpful in every ways. we used to take borrow books and notes from them. RCCIIT Alumni Association keens to provide a platform that will facilitate constant interactions with the alumni, maintain support mechanisms for the alumni network and create a healthy and sustainable relationship with the alumni and enable our alumni to stay in touch with each other and with the Institute.

Examination was held in very organized manner. Labs were all sets for exams before all the examination. All the computers were formatted previously.Two computer laboratories each with 30 desktop PCs to conduct the laboratory classes according to curriculum.

I took admission in RCC through the JECA counselling. Once you have got the allotment letter from the counselling hall then you need to contact the college directly on the mentioned dates. Then we had to deposit the admission fees in the bank and completed the other process like form fill up in the college. College administration was very helpful in all these things. If you stacked anywhere they were always there to help students.

All of the faculties were great not only as a good teacher they helped in every issue.Faculty in the College are well regarded for teaching and research. They are called upon to be part of Academic Councils, Seminars and Teaching programs. Additionally the College has a large number of Ad Hoc teachers to ensure teaching support and academic rigor.
