I took the GATE 2014 exam. I just about cleared my paper and secured a good enough score to enlist into JIIT. My normalised score was 32.

The course curriculum is exhaustive. There is a lot to be done and initially, the schedule overwhelms you. But in due course, you learn to adjust and acclimate. The best part of the curriculum is that it helps you become extremely self-sufficient. The professors guide you whenever required, but a major portion of the learning process is self-study. So, it is a great way to learn to be independent in one's academic endeavours.

Yes, the college provides internship as long as it is not a paid one. They are very supportive of all opportunities which allow the students to learn and grow and become wholesome individuals. They are an extremely encouraging lot when it comes to learning for the students. A stipend is also provided for students who perform consistently well in their semesters.

The placement opportunities are endless. The students can get placed in the best of institutes as long as they keep working hard. The students are very lucky in this respect as they have a very active training and placement cell that prepares them for the best of interviews.

The college fest is a big deal. Also there are many cultural groups that organise several events year round in order to keep the students engaged in cultural activities. It is a great way of keep the students excited and breaking the monotony of everyday curriculum.

I have no knowledge of any scholarship or loan that can be availed from this college. But i am sure such a system must be in place for the ones who want to avail such scholarships.

The life of an ideal campus. That is what you get there. It is an easy existence what with the lush green lawns and the fresh air everywhere. The activities are countless. Be it robotics, cultural activities, you name it. All activities are organised with great flair and participation.

They senior students are very helpful. They are extremely hands on and easy to talk to. They are always present if you want any pointers as to how to approach a particular subject or any other situation for that matter.

The exam structure is very much like most other institutes. They are periodic sessionals and one major exam per semester. Students are judged based on their performance every semester. It is mandatory to keep a good average every semester in order to maintain a good CGPA at the end of the curriculum.

I sent an email to the institute stating my current GATE score to them. Although I was a little late in contacting them regarding the admission procedure, the institute was kind enough to deem my score as reasonably good. All i had to do was turn up on the day of the admission with the required admission fees.

The faculty is hugely helpful and forthcoming. They are always readily available for students in all matters. They always keep their doors open for their students and provide helpful guidance whenever required. They can also be tough and authoritative when required. It is a skilful balance which they achieved after years of experience.
