Likes

Academics wise our college rocks as it has one of the best courses.
Hostel rooms wer air-conditioned and that helped us survive the scorching waves during summers.
Nearly 20 odd workshops have been included in our course and it will be around 30 by the time I finish.

Dislikes

The fees of hostel keeps increasing every year and this shouldn't have happened.

Course Curriculum Overview

JIIT Noida is famous for its CSE course and that is why so many seats are increased every year. It has come to a point that our syllabus is taught in some other private universities because from Boston to Busan, we have tie-ups with various universities there.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

At JIIT they have made it a rule that during 3rd final semester break all students are sent for intenrship and then the final PPO is given. Most students secure job from there and those who couldn't companies are invited at campus for them to try their best and secure a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

JIIT Noida is a marvel made by Jaypee group. Our college is better equipped and build than highways that Jaypee group has built and the fees is still only 3 lakhs a year. Scholarships mostly on merit as caste based scholarships are quite slim here.

Campus Life

It's because our college has so many departments we have so many labs too. Every department has their labs and common computer lab has over 100 pcs. Three or rather four cafes inside the campus and a well designed and air-conditioned seminar hall. Two open amphitheatre too are there and that's why I said this university is no short of a marvel.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are small but still an AC of 1 ton in each room means we always live in a chilly room. Even the food is amazing and so is facilities inside our hostel room and compund. A TV hall and can be accessed for as long has made our hostel Life amazing.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

I had confirm admission in almost all the colleges in Noida like the Galgotias, the Sharda University and others but chose this as this is ranked higher than them and also it is best for doing CSE. Admission was based on UPSEE and JEE Mains.

Faculty

JIIT is a group which believes in royalty and therefore all the royal faculties that were there teaching elsewhere has been roped for our university. No compromise there by the college and this has what helped student of top quality being produced from here.

Night Life

Shaheed Smarak and World of Wonders are two hangout places. Shaheed Smarak isnour evening hideout actually. The Hidden Hour is the best cafe or a restaurant nearby as college is on highway and it takes time to reach the main city.

The placements in our college is so much nice. Most of the students got placed in their second or third year. The companies visited in our college like Wipro, Tcs, Zomato, Capgemini, Salesforce etc. The percentage of getting selected of students around 50-60.

Placement Experience:

The final years students are eligible to sit in placenent process. This year many companies are visited in college like Xiaomi, Oyo, Tata 1mg, etc and many local companies for those want job in local. My overall college experience challenges and highlights

I choose Jaypee Institute of information and technology, Noida sector 60 2EC offered a good balance of academic discipline, decent placement and approximately to my hometown Aligarh. I had also applied to colleges like UPS Dehradun and I also gave JEE exam which I fairly passed and got few colleges, but it was very far from my hometown, so I chose to live close to my hometown and also Jaypee was providing me well academics Animation and JIIT had strong reputation and more structured environment. I couldn't make it to government top colleges like IITs due to high cut-off and lack of Delhi domicile, the admission process at JIIT was entirely online and based on JEE Main score without any separate entrance exam . I feel like JIIT was the most practical choice. Close to home. Academically focused in with our lab placement record, especially for the students willing to shift towards teck roles....Read More
