Remarks
I have applied for IP University colleges but since I got NSUT then I couldn't think of a better college than this. The criteria for securing a seat in this college is to get atleast 75% in class 12th and have got atleast 90 percentile in JEE Mains and age should be between 18 to 20 years. The admission process was smooth, even it went on in online mode due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as Mechanical Engineering is one of the best core courses. The course curriculum is average, as the time given to complete the semester is not proportional to the syllabus. The faculty is good. Class tests are also taken at regular intervals.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know much about internships as I am a first-year student. But have heard about internship programs offered to computer and IT branch students. Most of them are interned at Google and Microsoft.
Placement Experience
The placements rates are moderate for lower branches but are very high for branches like Computer Science, Information Technology. The college must have to arrange more placement opportunities for students enrolled in the Mechanical branch, bio-tech. My plan is to get a decent placement from the university and after that would look to study further to get a chance in the government sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is appropriate. Scholarships are also given to students with good grades. The government provided scholarships are also there for students with reservations. The course is not that affordable for those who are not financially strong as the fees are too high.
Campus Life
The campus is well maintained. Life at the campus is very good. The campus library is also well maintained with all the necessary books required for all the courses. Those who are involved in sports activities are also very much satisfied with the facilities as there is a separate ground for cricket, football and a court for basketball. There are many societies, groups run by students such as NSS.
