Remarks

We all had to go for counseling at IITG for the registration purpose before admission.I fall in love with the campus, to be honest. 3-4 lakes inside the compus, campus is at the bank of Bramhaputra river which makes the campus even more special.

Course Curriculum Overview

Appeared for Gate 2019 CSE so had to go for M.Tech in CSE.56 students and more than 20 faculties in CSE dept.Course curriculum is fantastic here, lots of electives are here covering almost every latest technology.Some quizzes before mid term, end term.If you join IITG only for passing then don't join it, it deserves better.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 156000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement in all top 8 IITS are same.So when it comes to IITG, Coding rounds start towards the last of September.Interview for selected students starts from 1st of December.I can't count name of the companies, the list is too large.Highest domestic package was offered by MTX for around 70 lpa, average was around 23 -24 lpa for CSE only.

Campus Life

Techniche is the name of Tech fest.It is generally conducted towards the end of August each year. It spreads over there days and four night.Alcheringa is the name of Cultural fest.It is generally conducted towards the end of January each year. It spreads over there days and four night.Library name is LAKSHMINATH BEZBAROA CENTRAL LIBRARY, you can search on internet for any information regarding library.1 dedicated hockey ground, 1 cricket ground, 1 football ground, 1 athletic ground, 2 indoor stadiums for TT, Badminton, squash etc.2-3 basketball court, 3-4 lawn tennis court, 3-4 vollyball court and many more.There is a new SAC( Student activity Center) which is used by students to perform club activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee and mess fee is included the fee which I had mentioned before.Student from 1st year till last year is provided single room.Wardrobe is there, 1 chair, 1 bed, 1 table.Ethernet port is there.Washing machine is provided for each block at each floor.

My university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a science student and always been interested in medicines so this course is quite interesting and yes it's tough . The struggle is real as the class starts at 10am in the morning and lasts upto 4pm minimum which teaches us to be patient and deal with things nicely. Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the 2 sessional examination before the final examination really helps a lot in the preparation.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th year students become eligible for placement even many got PPO before completion of course. Khaitan & CO once visited in the campus , highest package is not disclosed , average can be 800000 per year . This year many got PPO . My plan after graduation to do LLM and prepare for higher level exams .

It is good but not the best

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had a interest regarding business administration so i decided to take this course.This course will help me to gain experience regarding how a business works in the real world and also will help me to face the real skilled world. The teaching could be done in a more interactive way and also in a advanced way like using smart boards. Exams are held on an interval of about 2 months and their difficulty is quite moderate.

My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspect that influenced me to choose this course is , computer science. I'm interested in coding and programming. The curriculum lacks in preparing you for real-world applications as it focuses on mostly theory part . The improvement they can do is , by teaching students practically more and theoretically less. Because coding requires practice. The difficulty level is average , so frequency and timing of exams are fine .

For admission in this course you have to clear IIT JAM exam and secure a good rank under 100 of you are a general candidate. You can easily find the application details on Google. There are reservation benifits to avail which you can check on the website. You have to qualify jee mains and sit in jee advanced exam where you first need to clear the cutoff and then apply for IITs in josaa counselling, then colleges roll out their opening and closing rank based on your category rank, if you rank lie between them, then you can take admission in that college. A worth-reading review, for sure

The admission into all IITs will be through JEE ADVANCED exam. I was able to clear JEE MAIN exam with a good rank of AIR 1082 . Thus I got eligible to sit in JEE ADVANCED and cleared it with a decent rank of AIR 5152. The application process and alotment will be through JOSAA portal. I applied for all the top IITs (only for CSE & MNC as per my interest) and I'm a female OBC candidate(OBC RANK: 1002). So I got alotted MNC in IIT GUWAHATI . The cutoff in our year is around 1200 in OBC female category. JOSAA counselling portal takes fees of 3000 only and we give our order of preference in IITs , NITs and IIITs as per our interest and we will be alotted a seat as per our rank....Read More
