Remarks

I had two options one indian institute of technology Mandi and other one is M N N I T allahabad. Both are almost at same level but M N N I T allahabad has plus point that you can get more chances of placements compared to I I T Mandi. But still i choosed I I T Mandi over M N N I T allahabad just because two factors in which one for it's campus beauty mountains vadiyan and all, and second one is for I I T tag.

I choosed this institution just because it's I I T tag and I I T campus beauty. For the course it was not my choice actually, i got this course on the basis of my Gate score so there is no other choice at this score. Faculty is good mostly young people join as faculty so can say it's just okay.

We didn't get any chance of any intern just because department policy and rules. And it was only for this csp branch. Some of us got the offer of 1 year intern but csp dept don't allow for 1 year duration.

Placement Experience

Yeah this is the only factor which can make you to not to choose this institution specially for this course Mtech in csp. Because till now it's too low hardly 2-3 of 18 are placed and I'm not one of them. But i guess we all are trying to get placed we need to learn about some more things and courses, hopefully we'll get placed through offcampus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For me there's no scholarship as i am General as category. But yeah there is stipend for your work as a Teaching assistant for masters students only. For that you have to work under the guidance of one of the faculty members.

Campus Life

Yeah this is the only thing which makes you to choose this campus to join. This campus has beauty in the mountains so you can imagine how can you live within this campus. Even you don't required any club activities there bcoz you can do many things outside of the campus like Tracking cycling etc

Hostel Facilities

Yes, i opted for hostel and hostel facilities are quite good as it's a I I T campus so it was good but not the best. The best thing to live in hostels is the beauty of the campus. You can have a nice view from your room window. Hostel meal quality is good but it can be improved if you have good secretary.

the following is the bare bones of accommodations in HPNLU lavery centre HPNLU placements and carrer prospects :-the HPNLU students are usually allowed to have campus placements staring in the 9th semester .the placement cell is only quite young ,and thus developing at NLU . Boutique law firms and companies such as link legal and lakshmikumaran and sridharan also conduct top recruiting , and a few of the students also conduct top recruiting ,and a few of the students also get the PPO,s after the internship . packages the largest packages are normally between 10-12 LPA,with an average package of between 6-7 LPA placement percentage approximately 40-50 % of students seeking corporate jobs end up being placed off campus . plans after degree :on a personal note ,i will be exploring the world of litigation or the courts ,as the degree offerings provided by the university provide a good base in regards to competitive tests .

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest package was 80 LPA by DeShaw and average package is around 13 to 15 LPA 93 % students are placed I am also planning to sit in the placements and going in the development feild

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. IIT Mandi- my home and karmbhoomi

Honestly I initially thought of branch change and college in some what cold place which led me to this college. Our college is moderate in comparison to other iits, obviously you cant compare it with old iits , but yeah its decent enough, having good students and friends. Placement of four college is better than other iits. Some years result in placement ogf good no. of students whereas some leads to okish. The sport facilities are ok. Swimming pool is not of olympic size and it requires lot of time for repair of the sport equipments. Admission process is through Jossa counselling after JEE Advanced. I applied for VIT, NIT BHOPAL, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Jammu, IIT BHU, IIT Ropar, NIT Durgapur, and many of the IITS and NITS. I choose only this so, didn't fill for confirmation for others. IIT MANDI KE ANSUNE KISSE

The admission process at IITs are generally common through a cmon entrance exam all over India named jee mains for nits and then after qualifying in that we need to score good in jee advanced. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and economically backward classes. Like you can get good branches with lower marks. For example in computer science you can get 6000 rank for obc but around 2000 for general candidates....Read More
