I chose it because I had an interest in electronics more than any other field 5:56 for my class is the ratio of faculty: student. Many are Ph.D. in Their Respective fields and have higher qualifications

Our college conducts various seminars for internships and encourages each and every student to take part in them. There are many seminars about intern ships in our college. And the seminars start from the first year itself .

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year itself. The average packages that the student gets are 4 to 5 lakhs per annum and the maximum package is 12 lakhs per annum. Also, the college has a very high percentage of placements

Fees and Financial Aid

My total fee is 116996 with zer eligibility fees because I am from the Maharashtra board and I am an open candidate. The Other Than Maharashtra board students require to pay the 300 rupees eligibility fees.

Campus Life

We have various fests. The cultural fest is known as Utsav. We also have an annual sports fest in our college which has sports like cricket, chess, football, etc also our seniors organize various programs.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
