I wrote CLAT & scored 149/199. I opted for this college because it is a prestigious institution & the best in India as far as mooting is concerned.

As far as research is concerned, the course structure is adequately equipped for the needs, especially with projects, teaching assignments, courtroom exercises, and moot court competitions, there is a great emphasis on research in the academics.

Yes, our college does provide internships. There is an internship committee there for that. You have to send in your CVs to them & they get u in touch with law firms, NGOs, etc where u can intern. & if need be, they also provide u with recommendation letters.

The placements & job opportunities r excellent with near 100% placements. All the top tier law firms like Luthra, Amarchand & Mangaldas, AZ & B, etc. come to the college every year & the average annual placement package last year was Rs. 15.4 lakhs. The highest ever placement from this college was an annual package of Rs. 48 lakhs & last year one of our present 5th year student got an annual package of Rs. 40 lakhs.

The fees structure is expensive with it approximately coming to Rs. 1,50,000 per year, albeit we get admission on merit basis, excluding the food which would take another lakh per year. Even in IITs, the fees does not exceed Rs.1,00,000 per year. This is so the case with all National Law Universities.

Yes, the college provides an opportunity to avail the Aditya Birla scholarship. But only the top 15 or 20 ranked students (as per CLAT) of a batch r eligible to apply for the same. If u get it, your entire tuition fee is taken care of.

Yes, the alumni network is excellent & it is the senior students who teach us more than our teacher on things like how to go about academics, internship & placement opportunities, etc.

Yes, the exam schedule is very hectic with four Continuous Assessments (out of which the best of three is taken into account), a mid-term, & end-terms every semester. The Continuous Assessments also include project submissions & teaching assignments.

The dates & the required documents were notified in the university website itself. The notification was released after the publication of the second list of CLAT 2016. The form was provided in the University & the admission process was smooth. But one major improvement could be the admission also taking place online.

The faculty has adequate qualifications on paper. But barring a couple of teachers here & there. The majority of the faculty doesn't know how to teach in a way so as to make the students understand. All they are interested is to finish the course curriculum as soon as possible.
