If you get into this college half of your work is done the rest half depends on what you do here or how you pursue it and get involved in not only studies but activities like moot, sports, ADR, debates and other activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course seems easy but time plays an important role here. The main focus should be on current affairs and Legal reasoning. Though maths consist of only 20 questions but it is the one which decided that which NLU you get in.

Alumni/Alumna

All the NLU students connect to each other in some or the other way and help the juniors to adopt the environment of college and provide them with notes, books, and help in CRE and other things to pursue law.

Admission

I got admission in NlU Jodhpur by writing Entrance exam CLAT which on the face of it seems easy due to involvement of some easy subjects that are Logical and Legal reasoning, English, Maths(till 10th), Gk but what plays main role is time limit that is 120 mins 200 questions.

Faculty

As NLU Jodhpur is the 4th best govt law college in India the faculty here is also upto the mark and prepares u to become future lawyers one of the scholarship is Aditya birla scholarship for which an interview essay writing takes place and also u an take loan from the sbi bank of nlu jodhpur itself but although the fees is not as much.

What is a college

Placement Experience:

The most of the studnets start getting placements from last year and start preparing for it from the previuos year as they diffrent companies come and ask for interveiws the student who intrested in placements is needed to be given interveiw and the campus place are average as the minnmun package is also 4 lakhs. There are very big companies visited such as samsung and google which offered the highest placement in 2023 of 47.6 lakh as so many offers also made with a 100% gurantee placement. The highest package til date is 47.6 lakh and the average package is 4 lakhs with good and reputated companies. There is 100% placeement gurantted by the university as at the time of placement the students who wish to sit n the placements can sit and most of them are placed as AMITY as highest placemnt recored among all university in Jaipur. My plans after this degree is to give judicial services exam

The Amity University is best for the students who are serious about their career.

Placement Experience:

Amity provide equal opportunity to each and every student to get placement. The students become eligible for placement in their last year. Variour big companies visits to university for placement like Microsoft, Amazon,etc.The highest and average package offered in last year was INR 47.60 LPA and INR 5.49 LPA. Almost 70 to 75% students get placed every year.My plan is join law firm after my degree completion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

After 9 semester we will appear for placements. The law firms, some corporate companies were came to select students. The package offered was about 15 lakh. Around 60 % students got placement. Plans of minr after graduation was to appear in judge exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education

The course curriculum is almost good. I chose this course in order to become a judge. In my class, there are about 60 students including BA & BBA LLB. There are well-qualified teachers. If you study it's easy but if u don't it's hard to pass.

NLUJ: is the prestige only at face value or is there more than meets the eye??

I got into, NLU Odisha, Symbiosis law school Pune, Jindal Law school, IIM Rohtak for integrated management degree. Initially I studied at NLU Odisha for 2 months before receiving a vacancy from NLU Jodhpur and transferring here in September 2024. I believed that I wanted to do law from an NLU, hence did not opt for Symbiosis. Jindal was a last resort in case I hadn't gotten into a top 10 NLU, while I would have initially preferred to go to IIM Rohtak, by the time I got the call from them, it was already to late. For their semester had began, it was very rigid and rigourours, and being a humanities student, I could not catch up with the engineering level mathematics. You can get an admission in NLU Jodhpur through your CLAT ranking, you need to score a 97 for CLAT as per my year to avail an admission here. Or an AIR from 200-300. You can apply to counselling and float seats for a higher NLU or apply through Vacancy/ NRI...Read More
