College Review

I think my college is situated at one of the remotest but beautiful location which is the best thing about the city Jodhpur. It has beautiful fort named Meherangarh Fort and other places like Mandore Garden, Umaid Bhawan, Jaswant Thada. All these place always makes you feel young and new and thus, the city never makes us feel bored from our hectic college and academic life.

The Course for the CLAT consists of 5 subject and it is total of 200 marks. 200 MCQs are given from English(40), GK(50), Maths(20), Logical Reasoning(40), and Legal Aptitude(50). The level of these questions are upto 10th class and legal aptitude is based on the logical application of mind of the candidate as per situation.

My collegeis ranked among top 5 law colleges of India and it is more than 2 decades old. The placement starts once students enter 8th Semester. Placements are more than 80% and before the end of one's graduation, if any student want to get a job, he definitely gets it. The College has its own Recruitment Committee whuch takes care of internship opportunities for its students. Yes, thestudents do get internship and all Law firms do provide good stipends. Even, many Senior Advocates and AoRs encourages litigation internships by providing good stipends.

Yuvardha- Sports fest organised once in every 2 years. NH 65- Cultural Fest orgnised alternately with Yuvardha. Debating Competition Moot Court Competition In addition to all these, we also organised many such intra university events and fests like Hues, Cul-week, Sports week and so on.

Though our college is owned by State Government, but it runs solely on it own and therefore the fees is more than what a tradition state runned college should charge. The fees for a semster is around Rs. 1 Lakh which does not include food charges.

Though our college is recognised by State Government of Rajasthan but it runs independently and totally on its own earnings. Therefore, the college does not provide any scholarship per se. But top 20 rankers of our colleger are qualified for applying for Aditya Birla Scholarship. As our college is prestigious and well ranked college, therefore getting education loan is very easy for the students.

We have very good mooting culture in our college. We organise Yuvardha, a sports fest and NH-65 cultural fest happen in every alternate year in the month of October. We also organise Debate Competition, Moot Court Competition and other competitions too.

Every Students have to opt for hostel fascility as it is mandatory for all. Each student has given a separate room and hence there is complete privacy for all. The hostel infrastructure is best available among all top NLUs.

As we don't have any formal or proffessional networking with our alumni, but we as students are in touch with our alumni. As of now, due to presence of social networking sites, it is easy for us to connect with them and therefore, yes itnis helpfu too as they help us in getting good internship and always update us about new offers.

All India Entrance Exam called Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). As per the rank, one gets the NLUs allotted as per his/her preference. There are 21 NLUs whuch come under the ambit of CLAT Entrance Exam.

The faculties of my college are excellence in terms of their qualifications. The teaching methodology is very unique as they like to test all the students throughout the semester via Continuous Assessments, Assignments, Projects and Mid Terms Exams. There are other activities like Court Room Exercise which helos student in creating practical knowledge about law and legal arena.
