Remarks
National Institute of Foundry and forge technology is a GFTI(Government funded technical institute), which allows for taking admission in the BTech programme via jee mains. Earlier I had applied for vit where I got vit Vellore but left the college due to its fee. This college has a counselling process held by josaa.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering is a being a core branch that provides vast scopes for the future. It has lots and lots of opportunities. Our college has a better faculty-student ratio. Most of our teachers are p.hd qualified. We have our terms a bit easier than others since it is under jut board.
Internships Opportunities
I am a first year student so giving any review on internship is not something that I should do. But as per my knowledge, the companies like Tata, Maruti, Hindalco, jsw and many more companies offer their internships.
Placement Experience
Here, students are eligible for internships from the 2nd year. The companies like tata, Maruti, jsw and many more companies have their visit. The highest placement offered was almost 8 lpa and the average is around 4.7 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I am a first year student so I can only tell you about the fee structure which is better as compared to other colleges. It is around 42k per year with a hostel fee of around 10k per year. For the placements it was found to 95% of students were placed last year.
Campus Life
JINKS is the cultural fest and PRANAV is the tech fest held every year. There are almost 51k books in the central library which is a better number. This college has better sports facilities includes football, badminton, basketball, cricket, and many more. There are lots of clubs present in our college.
Hostel Facilities
Since we are stuck in this corona period I can't give a proper hostel facility details. But yeah, there are good facilities provided with better wifi connection. This college is also not for a day scholar there for we can't have a rented room near its locality.
