I Have Applied For Vit, Srm, Manipal, Bits Pilani, And Chitkara University. as Other Than Chitkara University, All Universities Had Entrance Exams Which I Was Not Able To Clear Or Score Good Marks Therefore I Applied For Chitkqra At Last. here Admission Criteria Was 60% Marks In Pcm And At least 60% Marks In 12th Board + Student Must Have Appeared For Jee Mains. I Didn't Avail Any Quota Because I Am From General Category. Here During Counselling Session, I Was Called First Day As There Were Students Above 50percentile On Day 1 And Below 50 On Day2. Admission Process Was Like When Our Percentile Category Was Called We Had To Go For Verification Of Documents, admission Form Filled And After That We Had To Submit Fees Of First Sem And Security Amount. And We Were Chitkarians At Last.

I Chose This Course Because Of My Interest In Softwares And Coding Languages. There Are Around 1500 Students In Our Batch. In One Class There Are 60 Students.so One Teacher For 60 Students. So Student: Faculty Ratio Will Be 60:1. Qualifications Of Faculty Are Not Bad. Many Have Done Ph.D., Some Are Just Post Graduated With Some Teachers Are Just Undergraduate. Teaching Method Is Very Good Here. Every Teacher Puts Effort In Teaching And Also Allow Students To Come To Them During Free Time. We Get Assignments For Every Chapter And Here Is a Little Bit of Pressure Of Exams. We Have 4 Fas Out Of Which 3fas Are Counted, 3 Sts Out Of Which 2 Are Counted And One End Term. Weightage Is 10%,30%,60%. Also For End Term Student Must Have His/her Attendance At least 75% Otherwise He/she Will Be Detained. Passing Exam Is Of Medium Difficulty As Some Question Comes From Assignment And Some Based On Concept We Have Been Taught.

Internships Offers Are Made By Technical Clubs Or Startups Withing College Or By Some Companies Through Mail Or Ads. I Have Not Joined Any Internship So I Don't Know About Project. Roles Offered Are Front End Dev, Back End, Full Stack Or Ui/ux Designer Etc.

From 6th Sem Students Become Eligible For Placements. I Am In Fifth Sem So No Offer Is Made For Me. Many Big Companies Like Infosys, Tcs, Wipro,Flipkart, Comes Here. Sometimes Major Companies Also Come Like Amazon , Google, Samsung. I Am Going To Take Job In Company Only After Degree. Placement Is 90-95% In Case Student Dont Want To Go Is Exceptional Case.

Fees Hike Is 10% Per Anum. Due To Covid-19, There Has Not Been Increase In Our Fees Till Now. Fee Structure Is 80000 Which Includes Tution Fees And Other Maintainence Charges. For Transport It Is 29500 Per Anum. For Hostel It Is Based On Type Of Rooms. But I Am Day Scholar So I Dont Know Much About Hostel Fees. One Drawback Of Chitkara University Is They Dont Provide Scholarship. But They Will Help U Get Student Loan . For Job On Campus They Have Ecell Which Helps In Startup And Provide Funds Also. Placement Is Also 100%. Many Companies Come Here. They Also Put Fines For Violating Rules Like Not Being In Uniform Not Carrying Icard Etc.fine Amount Are a Little Bit Overcharged.

Life At The Campus Is Enjoyable. They Have a Sports Complex With Games Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Pool Table, Badminton, Skating Hockey, And Lawn Tennis And These Are For All Students. Gym Is Also Available But Only Hostelers Can Access It Because It Opens After 5 Pm And In Early Morning. There Must Popular Annual Fest Is Rangrez In Which Many Teams Come For Stage Performances And Theatre Also. They Also Have Gaming Tournaments With Cash Prizes Award. Tech Events Also Conducted Here. Hackathons, Go Kart Racing, And Many More. Classrooms Are Ac Equipped Except For Two Buildings. Library Is Also Big. Many Books Are There Related To Curriculum And You Can Issue Those Books. Clubs Here Are C2s2 For Fashion Modelling And Dancing, Dgwani For Singing, Techincal And Social Clubs Are Also Present Here. U Can Get Into Them By Giving Interviews While Some Only Take Fees For Joining. These Are All Run By Students With Help Of Mentor.
