Surtech: Best Private College in Kolkata

I have applied to several colleges to pursue my B.Tech but I am not interested there to take the admission because of their infrastructure and lab facility, in our college the Automobile lab is fantastic and infrastructure is good enough and also this college located in very good situation, everything is near to the college so that is why I have taken the admission here in Automobile Engineering Department. For B.Tech regular candidates, they have to pass the 10 + 2 exam with a minimum of 60% marks and thereafter they have to qualify for the WBJEE or JEE main there they have to qualify and should hold a good rank for them for counselling.

I have chosen it because I was very much passionate about Automobiles from childhood. Generally, 1:10 faculty to student ratio should be maintained as per the AICTE requirement, In our department, it is maintained and also our faculties are well educated and knowledgable and their teaching skill is really very good. In one year two semester exam and four class assessment has been taken

Our college provides us with Internships in few industries such as BEML, Hyundai Motors, Ashok Leyland, WBSBSTC, Bhandari Motors etc. Internship actually fills up the gap between Academic and Industry so in every company provide the trainee post for to do internship so that it helps to learn and extend the knowledge.

Students are eligible for Campus Placement from the final year, Though Automotive Industry is a growing industry, now due to pandemic condition it lost its glory. In this scenario where all the people lost their job in the industry due to pandemic condition, there our college provide us with some placements with good package. I hope it will be better for next year than this year. I have placed in Trojous Peritous so after passing out I will continue my job.

For B.Tech regular candidates, they have to pay rupees 4 lakh in 4 years to complete the B.Tech and for B.Tech lateral entry candidates, they have to pay rupees 2 lakh 92000 to complete the 3 years in B.Tech. Several Scholarships are available such as Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, Aikyashree Scholarship, Sitaram Jindal Foundation etc.

In our college, every year Techfest and the Cultural fest had been organized. Lots of participants from others colleges also have participated. Techfest named Manthan organized in Google Meet virtual platform for the previous year. There is a large Library in our college from where you can access the books and also there is one separate departmental library from which we can access the books too. Each Year Annual Sports, Futsal Competition, Cricket Tournaments are organized.
