My experience in LPU

The admission process is simple here. You first need to visit their site (www.lpu.in), then apply for LPUNEST. After passing the minimum qualification number. They will assign you an admission officer who will ask you to upload all your documents and you are done.

I choose the ECE branch because I have an intrest in Electronics. And also there is programming as well. The faculty: student ratio is about 1:45 in my course. Many of the faculty are PhD holders and some are pursuing their phd from LPU itself. Exams are basic you only need to clear concepts to get good marks.

There are various companies that offer internships including Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc with highest stipend of 80000. In LPU you will get 3 tech projects and two development projects. Apart from that, you will get various small projects as assignments and various tech competitions are also there.

Students after the 7th semester are eligible for placements and in the 5th semester there are internships. Almost 600 companies visit campuses of which 20-30 companies are multinational. The highest package offered is 45 LPA and the average is 3.6 LPA. About 80% of qualified students will get placements which results in 40-50% overall.

The tuition fee is 98000 per semester and the examination fee is 2500, in tuition fees you will get a scholarship a/c to your LPUNEST marks. There are various types of quotas as well like sports etc where there are huge scholarships. Apart from that they also give scholarships on the basis of your 12th marks.

There are various types of events that are happening almost every week. Apart from that 1 annual fest which is organized by university and hackathons which will train you in competition level. LPU has a central library that contains a lot of books also has discussion rooms that can be booked through their UMS interface. In the terms of student groups, LPU is the best. There are many different types of organizations in different domains. You can join which u want and enjoy your extra time while participating in various events.
