Surtech: An Education Paradise

No, I didn't go for counseling as I was the Diploma Student in the same college before taking admission into the B.Tech. Instead of this, I got a Scholarship for a particular course in the same Institution. The minimum eligibility to B.Tech Program is that the candidate must have passed the 10+2 and thereafter He/She have to get the rank on the exam such JEE Mains and WBJEE and after that according to their rank counseling will be done and In Counselling they have to select this college for taking the admission. For Diploma Candidates also eligible for B.Tech if they did their Diploma from any of the recognized University and also they have to appear on WBJELET Exam and after qualifying the exam They can take the admission in this college through Counselling.

As per the AICTE guidelines 1:10 Faculty: Student ratio should be maintained but at minimum, it can also considerable by AICTE that 1:15 and in our department 1:15 Faculty: Student ratio has been maintained. Maximum Faculties of my department are highly qualified and their teaching method and skill are really very good and appreciable. 2 Semesters have been conducted in one year and 4 Class assignments have been taken in one year.

Internship defines to bridge the gap between Academic and Industry. We are enough fortunate that our college has tied up with the Ashok Leyland as well as Hyundai where we get the Internship and apart from this other industries such as in Mukesh Hyundai, WBSBSTC, Locomotive, BEML, etc where also Students can get the internship opportunity.

Our College has tied with several Companies but within these, two best Automobile companies have tied with the college these are Ashok Leyland and Hyundai Motors and these companies provide us the Internship as well as Industrial Training so that we can extend our knowledge. Apart from this, there are other several companies where our college sends us for the Internship and Industrial Training. Various Companies such as Byji's, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Repose India Private Limited, Trojous Peritous, and AMC Group, etc these companies have come to our college for placement. Personally, I have placed in Byju's and they offer me about 7.5 LPA.

For B.Tech total of 4 Lakh rupees has been costed to do B.Tech and for B.Tech Lateral Candidates 2 Lakh 92000 rupees has to give for their 3 years in B.Tech. Several Scholarships such as Aikyashree, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, OASISI Scholarship, etc are provided to the students according to their marks.

Every Year our college students organized the Tech Fest as well as the Cultural Fest named last time Manthan and Sparsh. Library Book facility is awesome in our college apart from this our department also has the departmental library from where we can access our books also. In our college campus, we have a large ground where all the programs regarding Sports have been performed.
