It is one of the best private engineering college in Kolkata

I did a diploma in automobile engineering from another college. But I am looking for a good college for graduation and I come to Sur institute of technology and sports complex (surtech). I chose this college for my b.tech degree. what I like about this college is that the teachers here are very helpful and help the students a lot. The college has its own laboratory, equipment, automobile engineering-related equipment which helps us a lot for any experimental work.

The faculty members and also others staff are very helpful and are always ready to help students any time and anywhere. They are friendly all teachers are highly qualified this course curriculum is very much relevant. The faculty students ratio is near about 1:20. As JIS group has built it's own LMS, the internal exams are now taken on regular basis. the term exams(slot test) are conducted twice in each semester.

The college provides various internship opportunity from INTERNSHALA along with that,we have registered ourselves in AICTE-TULIP portal for other opportunities also.so , we have the internship opportunity available at our institute.this week,we will be applying for an internship drive with a pune based design company- ELEATION.

Almost 75%-80% of students got placement in our college. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA from BYJU's, and the lowest package offered is 1.8 LPA. top recruiting companies like TATA AIG, TOUJOURS PERITUS, REPOSE ENERGY, CHEGG INDIA etc. In our course 50% of students got internship. In our college,70% of the students got placed in different sectors.

The fees of this college are much less than other private engineering colleges.besides, the college is located at Dum Dum and there is no difficulty in traveling as there is a railway station, Bus Stop near the college. JIS provides an internal scholarship of Rs60,000 to the students have studied diploma here.

Labs and classrooms are huge and we'll be equipped here. the library always has a positive atmosphere. there is a wi-fi facility also. There is a good canteen also where all types of food items can be found and our college also provides hostel and medical facilities. And sports facilities are also available for students and our college held sports competition also so that students can get some refreshments from their studies.
