Remarks

I gave JEE main, VITEEE, and MHT-CET exams. I scored exceptionally well in VITEEE and MHT-CET exams. I had an option to take VIT Vellore CSE or wait for MHT-CET counseling. I chose to avoid VIT and wait for MHT-CET counseling due to the cost and ROI factor. I got CSE in WCE, Sangli through my MHT-CET score. I got a GENERAL category seat. My college, being a government-aided institution has low fees as compared to other colleges. My college is in the top 5 engineering colleges you could get through MHT-CET. An MHT-CET rank under 1,100 for a GENERAL Male candidate can assure you a seat in the CSE branch of our college. The admission process was quite smooth. FIrstly, documents were verified. Then, PRN no.s were generated, and finally, fees were taken.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose CSE due to my interest in problem-solving and programming. Good placements and better ROI are some of the reasons which made me choose this college. Our college has been a government-aided college that has a problem with the faculty: student ratio. There is a clear lack of faculty. The faculty: student ratio is 70:1. Although, the available faculty is quite experienced. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders, while, some are pursuing it. Also, the teaching is quite precise. Due to the revamp in curriculum, the course has been updated considering the demand of the industry. Also, the exam pattern has been changed by adding MCQs, etc. The term exams were taken on time. Terms exams were proctored and technical issues were entertained.

Internships Opportunities

2

Various local companies, start-ups provide internships with a stipend of up to 20,000 per month. Various students apply for off-campus internships also. The college doesn't provide much opportunity when it comes to internships.

Placement Experience

4

The students get eligible for placements in their 8th semester. Our college placements are quite impressive. The best placements are available for CS/IT branches. The highest placement goes up to 43 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Wipro, Nvidia, etc are some of the recruiters. The average placement for CS/IT goes up to 8 LPA with a placement rate of 95%. I aspire to do an MBA after my B.Tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 86,000 /year for general category students. Also, the ROI is quite acceptable. Also, various scholarships are available for low-income students. Currently, I am a freshman so I don't have any internship. But students get various internship opportunities in the 3rd and 4th years.

Campus Life

3.5

A digital board is available in all classrooms. Our college has one of the largest and most beautiful campuses in Maharashtra. Ajil Gulabchand Central library is one of the biggest libraries in Asia and has about 1,00,000+ books. A gym, Football ground, Cricket ground, Basketball court, Badminton court are available within the campus. A lot of clubs are there Technical as well as Non-technical, Although, there are no sports clubs which in my opinion is a downside.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel is available on a merit basis. Hotel rooms are below average. Although, hostel fees are around Rs 16,000 which is quite cheap. The college mess food is not that good. Outside mess facility is also available. Various rooms are available for rent in Vishrambag for college students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics and telecommunication engineering is best branch. And there is also best teaching of hardware as well as software and also in which attendance is mandatory. They shows how to use the academics with real world applications. By taking hardware practicals. I think no need of improvement but i gives improvement in attendance. Please don't take attendance mandatory.
