Entrance Preview
CET was the entrance exam we had to take during our tenure of studies. CET acronym Common Entrance Test . I was in a situation were had lost hope to take up this exam due to medical emergency in family and mentally also not prepared. But my brother was the energy filler who fill all the positive vibes and made me visualise after 4 years i will hold an Engineering degree and that was the energy carried through out my studies and successful Engineer.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course i had opted was Electrical and Electronics and that was the toughest course but still very interesting and we had optional subjects which we could opt for every semester. I had opted the core subjects for all the optional subjects. The subjects and course are as per the VTU.
Placement Experience
There was a placement centre in the college campus. But during our stay in college we had no much of scope for placements and opportunities. The chances were feeble. The few companies that came for campus was not communicated to students formally it was not that well organised. But now there is an improvement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was feasible depending of quota the seat you have availed. If general quota then it is normal fees structure. But if you go as an management quota the fees is definitely high. The building charge , admission charge etc etc will be taken from management quota students. There is no any fixation on fees structure for management quota.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i din't find any. I have heard the lower caste students availed some benefits like scholarship but not sure.
Campus Life
Campus is very beautiful with lots of trees and no pollution as the college is 1.5 kms from the main road. Canteen facility, Stationary shops, cafes like coffee day , restaurants, Sports room both outdoor games and indoor games was a big hall with facility. Labs were all fully equipped and with basic first aid every where within the campus.
Exam Structure
It is the VTU under examination structure. As per the VTU the exam days would be fixed both for theory and practicals. The invigilator would be both within college and one person from different college. The internals test was a part of examination marks count . That would be within the college.
Admission
Based on the ranking there was a CET circulation published to attend the process of picking the college and course. We had to assemble in the premises with all our documents like fees cheque (depending on quota ex.General), PU hall tickets, Ranking details, marks card or a copy of PU mark sheet, Conduct certificate, Caste Certificate all with signature of gazzett officer.
Faculty
Few faculties were exceptionally good in there subject. But we had few faculties who were not of that subject but still used to take class and that was our bad . And some subject we had no faculty. Principals were good. Lab faculties were also good enough and very helpful in understanding the concepts of practical.
