Remarks

IIT Roorkee has great contribution to the national development. It is one of the oldest IITs that changes its courses for students interest. UG degree pass in any discipline with 60% marks followed by a CAT and PI is necessary for the admission. Students who pass the JEE exam with at least 7 CGPA can be exempted from CAT exam.

This two years course has four semesters. In the first year students gain a fundamental knowledge about different area of marketing and in second year students can choose electives as per their interest which gives extra benefits to their career.

The total fee structure of the course is INR 400000. IIT Roorkee provides Scholarship for meritorious students. It has special cell for it. It gives Scholarship such as - Distinguished Alumnus Award, IITR Research Award etc.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. I applied for this position through the IIT Roorkee website and paid an Rs.1600 application fee. Admission was made solely on the basis of merit and personality. Actually I did my graduation from NIT Delhi and also wanted to maintain my MBA standard upto that for which IIT Roorkee was a great option. Management department of this institute is known for its high placements and also has AICTE approval.
