Entrance Preview

I appeared for ICAR entrance examination. I passed and I was given my college at jaipur. But my aim is to become become an Archaeology. There's a contradiction with my aim. So, I opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course I took up,for me, is a very good one as they provide a very large scope of the particular subject I am interested in. The college provides honours in almost every subjects and every field. I can continue with my masters in the college as there is good research facility.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college does not provide internship. No companies came to our college but we really wanted this kinda opportunity for us. In the near future, we are hoping that the college provides such kinds of facility.

College Events

4.5

List of events celebrated in our college are Blood donation camp- Its organised every year and many students donated their blood for the welfare and cause of the society. Literary meet- It's also organised every year. Poems, songs, poetry, drama of different cultures, language and tradition are performed in the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is feasible as compared to other college as it is quite affordable for poor students in the country. Annual admission and fees of the two semester is only 18000 and it varies according to the courses but it is quite cheap compared to other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually there's a scholarship in the college but it's based on our 10+2 marks and all the students are not given an equal opportunity to avail the scholarship. There is no facility of loan available in the college.

Campus Life

4

Male students dominates female students in the gender ratios in the college. There are parties after every semester exams. There are workshops on environment, drugs and so on. There's huge dominance by the native students of the area.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni networks are quite helpful as they also play an important role in the development of the college. The alumni network would contribute some and they built what's necessary for the college also.

Exam Structure

The exams are not that frequent as per semester they only conduct like two exams, a mid semester exam and a semester exam. The labs are actually comfortable as we were all provided with every necessary equipments and facilities and with that we can conduct any experiment possible.

Admission

I got my admission with my 10+2 pass percentage. We were served with first come first basis and according to our pass percentage. We filled the form online in the college admission website and submitted our attested documents to the college through post office service.

Faculty

3

The teachers are well qualified. They are at the top of their own respected fields. But there's some problem with the dialect and language of the teachers a I am a Manipuri student.

Placement Experience:

Obviously the placements are offered in the final year but due to the NEP 2020. Various interships are provided to the students of even first year ones. Companies like Airtel, Amazon India, BYJU's, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc have offered placements to the students in their companies. The average package students can expect is around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest package would be around 10-15 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements varies from 5-7% only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is designed in a very organised manner so that the students can get knowlege from everywhere. The syllabus and study material are very crisp and to the point. But yes the university should give alittke bit more time for the preparation of the MST as they take place in consecutively 2 months which increases the difficulty level for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of i know the ggdsd college of chandigarh is considered the best college in chandigarh, and their psychology program is really good and that's why i choose it. The curriculum prepares us in many ways, they organize different types of activities and they even tell us about interships and how to grab them. I don't think that the curriculum needs any type of improvement, it is quite good. I don't have any problem with the frequency and the timing of the exams and their difficulty is also on medium-hard level.
