I had pursued my MBA from DOMS IIT Roorkee as the institute was very popular for its academic excellence and impressive placements records, quality education services, incredibly knowledgeable faculty, challenging curriculum, etc. My admission was purely based on the CAT scores followed by PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the MBA programme at DOMS IIT Roorkee is designed to give students an overview about the working environment of the management in the industrial fields. The faculty members of the institute are very knowledgeable and talented. They adopt various techniques and methodologies to teach the course concepts.
Internships Opportunities
As a part of MBA course curriculum, the students have to take up the internship offers during summer placements drive. The internships are for 8 week duration. Thus, the institute invites prominent companies to hire eligible students for internships. These internships are offered with stipends.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the institute is highly determined to place the students in reputed companies. So, the institute invites prominent companies during the campus placement drive wherein majority of the students grab lucrative offers. Around 82 offers were made and some of the top recruiters were HCL, KPMG, RBS, Vedanta, ICICI Bank, Wipro amongst others.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the MBA programme at the DOMS IIT Roorkee is INR 8.19 lacs in total which covers the tution fee and others. However, there are other deposits that must be paid separately. There are other government-funded and Industry-sponsored scholarships and financial assistance which can be availed by the students.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure of the DOMS IIT Roorkee is spacious and is well facilitated with all the required amenities and facilities. These facilities enhance the student learning experience. The state of the art classrooms provide an amazing teaching learning experience. There's a digital library where the students can access databases, journals, ebooks, etc. There's a sports ground where many annual events, fests are held.
