Remarks

I applied for BE in cmr Institute of technology 2016-2020 batch. I didn't avail any quota for admission. The admission process was smooth. Good from a placement point of view especially for CS and IS branches.

Course Curriculum Overview

I got Electrical and electronics engineering because of my comedk rank. Faculties are very helpful and generous. They teach in a very systematic and easy way so that it's understandable by everyone. Every 2 months we had internals of 50 Marks and one final semester of 80 marks.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like delta, sprinkler, Ellucian and many more companies provide internship opportunities for software engineer role with stipend 10000-30000. Projects provided by companies are in the fields of infrastructure, R& D, technical support.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit our college for placement like Infosys, cognizant, sprinkler, ibm, Bosch, Hp, Allstate, LTI, mindtree etc. The highest package offered is 28lpa and the lowest package offered is 2.6lpa. I'm currently working at Replicon.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year the fees are increased by 50000. For my batch fees were 195000 per year but for localities, the fees were 25000.I got placed on the college campus in Replicon. I never got a scholarship from college and I'm not aware of it as well

Campus Life

The annual fest was conducted once a year every march and the tech fest was conducted almost 3-4 times a year. Books and journals are available in the library. Different sports were encouraged in our college like basketball, badminton, football, volleyball.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
