Remarks

The admission process is carried out on basis of two criteria where one is the percentage in the 12th board exam and the other one is the personal interview which is done by the college side. After filling the application form the college conducts interviews and asks questions regarding the favorite subjects and future goals and after considering the marks obtained by the student in the board exam and interview they decide on the admission basis. The interview is given more importance and based on the interview q&a the college administration provides a suitable course, thus it is very important to know why you want to pursue the particular specialization in order to get the preferred course in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are various qualified teachers for the subjects taught in the college and the teaching method is more of a mixed type where the teacher gives notes regarding important topics, shows videos presentations, ppt and since i'm from commerce course, the teacher also showed us the actual documents of the various companies about which we were learning during the class for better understanding of the topics. There is also an online platform of the college where all the learning materials and topics that are in the curriculum are included in lecture-wise format for students to access which makes it not necessary for the students to buy additional books for the course rather just go through the online portal. There are separate teachers for each subject ensuring that the teacher are able to make the students understand the subject they specialize in easily.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The teachers and moderators share the internship opportunities in the various clubs relating to their field for e.g internships regarding financial analysis in the finance club and social work internships in cultural groups so it is very important to choose clubs in the college to avail maximum benefits and opportunities.

Placement Experience

4.5

The students become eligible for campus placement from the third year i.e from the 5th sem and the college also requires to have certain internship criteria to apply for college placement opportunities. There are some big companies like google, amazon, hdfc bank, Wipro, south Indian bank etc who select students each year based on the course selected. There is 75-80% placements every year making it a good option if one wants to start the job after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for all the courses is very reasonable given the services provided in the college. The college also receives campus placement opportunities from various big companies like google, amazon, e&y, hdfc bank, wipro etc depending on the course opted and about 75-80% get placed every year making the placement opportunities very great.

Campus Life

5

The college has a very big and beautiful infrastructure with separate buildings for the different courses, it has 3 big cafeterias each having different specialties like snacks and drinks and lunch items. The college also has an underground parking facility and a big ground for football and other sports purpose alongside a basketball court. There are numerous clubs to choose to vary from investment and finance to singing, dancing, drama and other literary clubs. The college promotes a lot of extracurricular activities making college life fun. There are also two big libraries where one find a peaceful environment if one wants to have some personal time and also the mini-park which is also a very famous spot for students to hang out with friends during break hours or for relaxation purposes.

Interview Experience

5

There is a personal interview at the time of admission where the teacher asks some general questions regarding the preffered subject and apart from that the college asks about why the person wants to choose the particular course and depending on the clarity of the answer provided by the student the college assigns admission in the different courses in college. So it's better to know the pros nd cons of the specialization beforehand so as to get the preferred course and specialization if selected

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
