Nice Experience

I am a student of Lakshmibai College. I get to know about this college on the recommendation of my friends who are already enrolled in that college and my school teachers also suggest I opt for Laksmibai College. I got my admission done on the 3rd cut dated 30 June 2018. On admission the only student is allowed in college premises then there were seniors at every step for help in the admission process. First, there was a panel of a teacher who checked and confirmes my marks once marks verified they send me to another department for document verification. I availed for obc but there is no renewal of obc certificate then the teachers told me just fill the undertaking form and submit it once you get renewal and submit it. I did that My admission got confirmed. I got 87.4% in12th I availed obc for admission in B.Com Hons as such no age limit. On counselling day teachers interact with us staff was good and tell about the college and wished us.

I am from a Commerce background and I heard that B.Com Hons is a good course to do as you are from a commerce background. The teachers are very good and well qualified. There are currently 177 teachers. Every doubt related to class help us to solve them. There is the provision of the mentor-mentee meeting which provide student to interact with a teacher other than the subject teacher to whom we can share any problem subject as well as personnel. Their teaching method is so simple anyone can understand easily. Exam or testis of moderate level anyone can attempt it with little effort. Our college also provides language course like french Japanese etc. And also animation classes.

The internship opportunity of our college is very good. Internshala provides the maximum internship opportunities and it offers numerous roles such as social media influencer, digital marketer etc. Projects and tasks are solely dependent on the role we are doing.

My college placements are very good. I think from 4 th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies who visited our college include wipro, mission education etc. Highest package 5 lacs and average should be 2 lacs. Approx 30% of students get placement. I thought of doing MCom.

The fees of the college depends upon the course you are opted for as I am a student of B.Com Hons the course fee for 1st year was 8000 to 8500 rupees. That was quite reasonable. And for 2nd year it was 8500 to 9000. So as such, there was not so much hike in fee structure. There is no facility in the hostel so you have to arrange it by yourself. There is the opportunity for a scholarship for backward students who were not able to pay even that amount during this lockdown period. Our college's placement cell provides internship opportunity in Wipro, Missioned, leader squared etc.

There was an annual fest every year in our college. Fest conducted between August and September. Besides this, we have Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra and Sooraj Pancholi in our college and also a seminar of Aaj Tak renowned reporters in our college. There is 2 storey library in our college routine magzines and newspaper available in the library. There were proper lights and windows and 4 fan in each room. There was big sportsground and arrangement of various sports like basketball, badminton, baseball, archery even carrom board.
