Remarks

The admission process was long but it was a govt institute. First I thought, yes I do my degree from any state govt college. Some several courses are there like physics, chemistry, math for science students. Also, I gave JEE main and the result came out. I got 54 marks and that was quite low for Jee. This is Tripura, northeast so I get Nit Agartala. So I was lucky enough. After that, I went to college for the next selection process. After I decided if I had to study, I will do it in this college. Because of the surrounding of this institution, also facility they provide in that admission time was awesome. One thing is most, college course fees are much higher. And after I gave exam and exam. That's a part of human life. Last year that was a pandemic time so we gave exam in online mode. Online exams are different from offline exam. You have to have two devices. Most of the students have huge Internet issues and many power problem. So the institute has taken few steps for these issues.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Yes, everywhere we go, there is some good faculties and also some rude faculties. But Nit Agartala has max good faculty persons. In my branch, everyone is so nice and so helpful. One thing is, they didn't miss their classes. Also, they attend the classes on time.

Placement Experience

3.5

Every year's Nit Agartala create a huge placement record. Almost 50-70% of students get their job through college placement. The students have been hired by well-known companies in India and abroad. Nit Agartala placement cell organising personality development and training for students. In 2019 placement, a student received the highest salary 36 LPA. Average salary received by the per student's Rs 5 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only in Engineering Physics, the semester fees are very high. No SC-ST reservation quota is there. No low-income facility is there. But for other branches there is everything. Like if your family income is less than 1 lakh, you have to give only 4 or 5 thousand rupees for the semester fee. If your family income is below 5 lakhs, you have to give 25k. If ur income above 5 lakhs, then u have to give 66k. But only for engineering physics, there is no facility available. We have to give per sem almost 42k ripped. Your reservation quota not working. So some of our friend they took a Bank loan. Also, few govt scholarships are available.

Campus Life

5

Nit Agartala was established in 1965 in the capital city of Tripura. Almost 20 km distance from Agartala. Originally, it was Tripura Engineering College. It was recognised as an NIT in 2006. Nit Agartala has a strong facility. Almost 400 acres large campus is full of forest inside it. I think best northeast college campus. It has a well-maintained large classroom, so many labs, so many faculty rooms. And big hostels are there. The canteen facility is also there like for Indian south people, there us a canteen. A few more food court is there. Also, we have a post office, banks, some arm facility. A market is in there. There are several clubs like art clubs, robotic club. ISRO inaugurated space technology centre is there

Every year placements happen and about 80 percent of the total students of the institute get placed in various dream tier and other companies with good packages. The packages depend on year to year, more specifically on hiring trends. I still did not make a decision for my post degree plans.
