Richa's Review On Chitkara University - [CU], Patiala

As I got admission in corona times so they checked my board percentage and as It was good so they gave me admission in the first round only and the round was online so that was a very easy process and really liked it as in corona time they don't ask me to come to college for admission.

I always wanted to be a computer engineer therefore I choose it. There is 1 facility per subject for 55 students in a class. Teachers are very good and know the best teaching method. There are FA and ST exams after every 2 months and end term in 6 months. Exams are of difficult level but if you listen to teachers carefully and so practice then you can score well.

There are many companies that visit the campus every year like Amazon, synopsis, Accenture and many others. They give 10-30 thousand per month for six months internship. And even many students grab up to 80thousand per month internship outside the campus.

As I am first year student so I don't have much idea about that but I listened from students that the maximum package is 60-70 lakh per annum every year. Even the average package is 6-7 per year which is not that bad.

Fees are quite high as compared to other private colleges but they provide internships in 3rd year and they also provide on-campus placements. As I am first year student so yet I don't get any internship.

All kinds of books are available in the library. There are many extracurricular activities like almost 2-3 per month. And even tete is funky Friday for first year students in which every Friday any actor or singer comes. There are many societies in University as dance, music and many more. All kinds of sports are there whether it is indoor or outdoor sports. And even as the campus is very big and green so it gives you a very pleasant experience.

Hostels are very good, meet and clean and very affordable. You will get all the basic facilities and even some other facilities link induction in the hostel for students. The meal menu is good as every day they cook something different so that students don't get bored of it and quality is also good - 9/10.
