Remarks

The college was good and the management was supportive. The management was strong in terms of funds it had and a strong pan India presence. I would recommend people to join this college of you have it as one of the options. It has a good environment and a lot of focus on studies and placements.

Entrance Preview

I took COMEDK exam and my score was 75. With a rank of 8595 I opted for computer science in jssate because of its pan-India presence and a strong administration.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was good but a little old. The college was under VTU so it followed the same syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

No the college didn't provide any internship.

Placement Experience

The placement was really good with close to 100%in campus placements. Most of the campus recruitment was done by mass recruiters. Cognizant, accenture, wipro, Mindtree, capgemini, tech mahindra, aricent, Amazon, Ibm With all of them offering package range between 3-5 lakhs.

College Events

The college's annual festival called VERVE is quite big and one of the best in Karnataka. It's quite huge. Apart from that there are departmental festivals going on year long.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure during my time was 150000 per year which was expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarships are only for the local people of Karnataka, since I was not from Karnataka I was not eligible for any scholarship.

Campus Life

The gender ratio was healthy. The diversity was good when it comes to all parts of India. The college doesn't focus much on extracurricular.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is quite good and the mess food was all vegetarian and tasted nice.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is good with many people at high roles in various organisations. They were helpful in getting jobs.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was that of VTU. With internals every month and final exams at the end of a semester. It was chilled out.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I applied to many college like sjbit,global ,jnnce,pes,rv,bms and many more They above were all need a higher grade than what I had scored. Jss was near to my home and i had a direct bus root for the college and it has a big campus and a lot of good grades form the students to back it up I couldn't get into bms ,pes or rv because my grades weren't good enough. I chose this college because it's near to my house and I personally feel it's better than all the colleges in the vicinity, which includes RNSIT and SJBIT. I applied for Jee mains but i did'nt got good rank then i applied for COMEDK and i got cse in this college for 18k rank, I choose this college as compared to other private colleges here only limited number of students are there in cse so the competition is not very high Admission processes for our college is simple you have to go through COMEDK counselling there will be three rounds in every round you will have 4 options of freeze seat, accept and upgrade, reject and upgrade, reject.
