All round professionalism

Over all I would say that the institute is good in terms of academics. But there are still some problems that make the students miserable. Such as the 85% attendance criteria and the faculty and management is very strict about it. Which makes it difficult for students to participate in extra curricular activities. But some faculties are very cooperative in terms of teaching and they also help a student if he faces any problem.

I had given JEE MAINS, JEE ADVANCED, VITEEE and BITSAT. The best available option for me was to choose Nirma university over other counterparts such as vit since the selection process at Nirma is very transparent and no kind of donations are accepted.

The course curriculum is very flexible with the credit system. My major is electrical engineering. the institute offers electives suuch as power electronics, economics, machine hydraulics and many more.

The companies such as ford, morgan Stanley visit the campus for recruitment as well as summer internships. As far as the college is considered it does helps in accomodating internships for its students.

There are a lot of clubs which organize events time to time in college. Some of them are trirang, horizon. The official events of college are vaudeville(the cultural fest) and NUTECH (technical fest).

The fees may seem a bit expensive than most of the other engineering colleges. Per semester fees is 75300. Excluding hostel and other charges.

Scholarship is provided to the top 500 students in merit which ranges in % from 25% to 50%..

Campus life is quite pleasant and also the college encourages the participation in various national level competition such as ROBOCON, BAJA etc. thus there are many clubs in college including ISTE , SAE, ROBOCON etc.

The hostel facility is not available for bachelor's programmes so the students have to manage accommodation outside the hostel. Some good ones include SGVP, Student home, hiramani hostel.

There is a alumni association of nirma university named as NITAA the alumni of nirma university is spread across the country and also outside the country. This helps in building a good reputation of institute and increased job opportunities for present students. Many students are recommended to companies by the alumni working in the same company.

Here comes the most critical part of our college. Since exams here are very frequent (thrice a semester). Class test , sessional and semester end. Plus the lab project work in semester end makes it even more hectic.

The faculty here is mostly of gujarat background and most of the teachers have completed their graduation at reputed govt. Colleges of gujarat.
