One of the top colleges in Delhi University. Good scope for co curricular and extra curricular activities. The administration staff is quick and efficient, also communicates well with the students. Great diversity amongst the students and staff. There is a tight security in the college to deal with anti social elements. During my admission in the college, it took around 30 minutes to enroll and register for the course.

The English department of KMC has 25 faculty members and approximately 40-50 students per batch. Every teacher has a different way of communicating the course and offer diversity in their respective core subjects. Term exams under the department have always been conducted smoothly. It is fairly easy to pass the exams but the standard of marking has always been high. It is very difficult to score above an average of 7 GPA.

Campus placement is not mandatory or necessary for all students in KMC since majority of the students prefer applying for masters right after UG. However the placement cell is open to all the students from every batch. Internship opportunities are open to everyone and pre placement job opportunities are mostly open to the final year students.

The fee structure has been established based on the affordability of the students from different backgrounds. The cost to study in the college is low but the merit to get in the universe itself is high. Instead of financial aid, there is admission on the basis of extra curricular and co curricular activities. The placement cell of KMC has a systematic means of functioning which provides every student an equal opportunity to apply for different jobs. The average stipend based on my observation for the humanities field is somewhere between 4-6 LPA.

The annual fest is managed well every year, the budget is great, famous celebrities often come to perform for the college. It is also a famous shooting site for many movies. The college has one of the top societies that host it's individual fest every year around March-April. The societies participate and win in many colleges throughout the country. KMC is also known for the sports department, particularly boxing and cricket. KMC Musoc and Players are the most competitive music and theatre societies. The college has notable alumni- Amitabh Bacchan, Sushant Singh, Shakti Kapoor, KK, Vijay Raaz.
