Remarks

St Xavier's being a good and reputed college with excellent faculty and atmosphere. College Placement are the best in the city under Mumbai university. Best college festival Malhar in India as per me. Didn't find any bad aspects of our college. Admission process is done online wherein you need to apply on the college website xaviers.edu. After applying your name should reflect in the first three cutoff list depending on marks scored in Math, and Computer science (optional) in class 12th. Admission dates are after the school results are declared.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

B.Sc IT because was very much into learning about computers and languages. This is a career that benefits business by allowing companies to work more efficiently and to maximize productivity. And with that comes faster communication, electronic storage and the protection of important documents and information. Faculty in my thoughts were the best I have ever seen in any college. Not every teacher was fulfilling the top class requirements but most of them do. It's like not every finger in our hands are equal so as the teachers.Maximum of the teachers had completed their PhD and Master in related subject which they have expertise on.Term exams were after every 6 months of duration. Like 1st Semester and 2nd Semester which are counted as First Year happen in a year followed by S.Y and T.Y. That means in total it was 3 years course. Exams were not difficult to pass if you have keen attention during the class in college.

Internships Opportunities

4

Didn't do any internship but opted for Honors Program which was offered from our college. Introduction to SAP was the course offered by deep understanding of the application and who it been functional in different vertical of business.

Placement Experience

4.5

After completing your 5th sem. You are eligible for the campus placements. Companies like Zilingo, Bain, TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Media.net, Deloitte, and many other reputed companies visited our college for campus placements.Highest package offered was 18 lakhs per year and average was 4.2 lakhs per year. Can't name the companies name as it's confidential or you might check it online over internet. My plans after completing my degree was to get a good job and learn about the corporate world and the functionality of the business. After getting experience and knowledge will start my own firm, planning for the future.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is decent and adorable. There are many scholarships given to children from our college and from outside college to students who outperform in their courses. Best colleges like Harvard, Yale , etc provide students opportunity to score the scholarships for their further studies.

Campus Life

5

College annual fest Malhar was one of the biggest and know festivals in India. Many celebrities and artists vist our college during this occasion. You could check more details on malharfest.org. Tech fest Xenith All types of sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football and many other indoor sports are conducted on University level.

Admission

There was one to one discussion with the H.O.D of the department in which the person ask general questions about yourself and the interest in the subject which you choose. He/she might also ask why you want to adopt this course and what are your future goals after choosing the course.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.
