Remarks
The college was among the top 10 colleges in Karnataka with a placement facility of 100%. Coming to the infrastructure, it looked really promising. Faculty were really commendable. Sports and extra-curricular activities are encouraged. The hostels were excellent and provided a commendable space. The bad aspects of our college is ignorance of recruitment for Civil and Mechanical engineering students. Continuous change in faculty and no proper equipments. Practical perspective and education is not paid much importance.
Course Curriculum Overview
The academics was made easy by the qualified lectures of MVIT. Few subjects were handled by Phd. Holding faculty, but the critical subjects like Structural Engineering were mishandled and caused a lot of trouble. The term exams were once in every 6 months and internal were held every month. The internals were evaluated liberally, but the term exams were evaluated very careless purposefully failing the students to collect the revaluation money.
Internships Opportunities
I had been interned for a company named SDC Construction. It's a compulsory subject for every student. I had secured a position of Site Engineer. Various aspects about civil engineering and construction technology were explained and provided with practical perspective.
Placement Experience
The placements facilities are really worse for Civil and Mechanical engineering students. But the CS, EC, and IS branch students enjoy a high rate of placement facility. Few companies visiting MVIT, Accenture, Ultron, Musigma, NCC Urban.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was around 60000 per year. All types of scholarships offered by Government were encouraged and institution helped to claim. No such financial assistance from MVIT. Campus jobs were only meant for IT branches, wherein few candidates from Civil opted to join IT companies.
Campus Life
College life is really fascinating and excellent as there'll be a numerous fests like Aadhar, Kalanjali. The Kalanjali fest is the biggest fair event in our college, wherein various cultural-sports competition are held. It's a inter-college event.
Admission
There were no such discussion but a state entrance test is a must for every candidate taking admission for Engineering and Medicine. The state entrance test is based on the subjects studied during 12th. I secured 19752.
