Remarks

The college has a huge potential to be the top 10 colleges in Karnataka. The management has become a little strict off late. But that will not hamper your college life. Over its a good college.

Entrance Preview

I took up CET. I scored 78% in my PU. The reason I opted for this college was because of its infrastructure, it's growth within a short period of time, the campus and placement record of the college.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college does not provide any internship. However, since it has been granted with a university status now, it might be providing internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

Most of the eligible students get placed in reputed MNC's as well as startups. The placement record is improving every year. We have a very experienced placement officer in our college who has a good network. Some of the companies were TCS, Capgemini, IBM, HP, Amazon, Bata, Neudesic, IMS health etc. Package ranges from 2.9 to 6 LPA .

College Events

5

The main event/fest organised by the college is called Revamp. It is an annual techno cultural spectacle which attracts more than 6000 students every year. Apart from that each dept from the college organises it's own fest to encourage students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers scholarship to deserving and financially weak students. Karnataka bank present within the college campus also offers loan to the students.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio- 60% boys ,40% girls. The college has a football and cricket ground, TT, basketball and Badminton courts. Every year sports day is organised for the students. Robotics and debate competition is organised during Revamp fest.

Hostel Facilities

4

I wasn't staying in the hostel. But the hostel is well equipped with 24/7 electricity and water. There are rooms which accommodate 1 to 4 students. The cost per year including food amounts to around 80,000 . There is a south and north Indian mess, huge food court, laundry service, stationery shop, haircut saloon .

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are helpful. Some of them are lecturers in college. They are invited during the college fest.

Exam Structure

The exams were conducted by VTU, Belgaum. Its held once in 6 months( both practical and theory). If one is prepared in advance, rhe they wouldn't find it hectic. I didn't find it to be hectic.

Faculty

4

The faculty in all the departments were a mix of experienced and young energetic teachers. Most of them were very friendly and helpful during the course of the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum seems to be a little outdated as we were following the VTU syllabus. But since 2024, our college has become an Autonomous College and since then, most of the outdated syllabuses were replaced with newer, required contents. And we have exams regularly, every month. This helps us alot in preparing for our final exams.
