Remarks
I chose to study FLAME university because it is newly built with very beautiful infrastructure. It also has very good placements. So this was why I studied here. For admissions, I had to sit for the FLAME entrance test, and my bachelor's score should be a minimum of 50%. I paid rs 2000 for the application fee and after submission of my form, I sat for the FLAME test. In it I had to write an essay followed by a one way video interview. After the selection process, I was provided an acceptance letter after which I paid the amount of my admission fee and got ready for my classes.
Course Curriculum Overview
There was no burden of books as everything was taught via PPT in the smart board. The college did provide books from the library but to be honest, it was never required except for further references. We had weekly MCQ and vivas, attendance of 75% was compulsory or else we were debarred from the university exam. Our class consisted of semester based in which we had internals and externals followed by assignments. marks were added from the assignments and internals. Lastly I wanted to pursue MBA mainly because of better job prospect and for further learning.
Placement Experience
The college as has a dedicated placement which aims to give a 100% placement to us. They connect with recruiters and list out job openings to us. The eligibility is that there should be no back papers, a well maintained attendance and a good GDPA score. The top recruiters come from finance and banking sector. Companies like HDFC and Nelson Finance Hub visit the campus. We have recruiters from ecommerce and retail as well. The average package starts from 3.5 lakhs p.a and the highest is upto 15 lakhs p.a
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total cost to study MBA was RS 11,90000 for a period of two years. In it included the campus and facility fee, book fee, college library fee, classroom fee and also tuition and exam fee. The fees hike was bout 2 to 5 % every year for new joiners, and we did have scholarships which was based on merit. We had full scholarships as well as scholarship waive off. It was based on merit and the waive off varied from 5%-100% as well.
Campus Life
The campus is 60 acres, and in it we have sporting facilities like basketball courts, a very nice cricket filed and a football filed as well. We also had student councils which acted as a bridge between the student and the administration. It consisted of three committees, namely, Student Welfare Committee, Sports Committee and Cultural Committee. W also have four houses which compete against each other in various activities organized in the campus. Student exchange programs are also available in FLAME. This promotes diversity and also organizes FLAME fest and is all India college participation. Events like dance, music, fashion, business week etc are organized in this fest.
