Remarks

After completing my graduation in B.Com, pursuing MBA seemed as the right option to give a push start to my career. The admission process at FLAME university is a bit complex as you need to clear many rounds before the offer letter part. Starting with, you need to have a good score in [CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/MH-CET]. On the basis of your score, the next step comes the essay writing part. After the submission of your essay, sit for a personal interview where your past academic record and extra-curricular activities will be assessed. This whole process took some time, but if you perform well in each step you will definitely receive the offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The university offers various specializations in MBA such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship and Operations. I completed my MBA with majors in Human Resource Management and a minor in Marketing. The faculty members seemed very passionate in making us learn the concepts. Some of my professors were recruited from great universities outside India. The entire structure of the exam was based on practical concepts and the application of theories in real life.

Internships Opportunities

5

We went for a Summer Internship Program after completing 2 semesters. The entire internship was of 8 weeks. Some of the eminent companies who participated for the recruitment in the program were Reliance Industries Limited, Schbang Digital Solutions Private Limited, Schreiber Foods, Spruce Shave Club, The Banyan, The Deccan Herald, The Samaritans Mumbai. I undertook an internship in Deloitte India in the Human Resource Department. The stipend was based on my performance over the entire time.

Placement Experience

5

One can easily equate dream placements with FLAME university's placements. They start preparing you for the placements from the start. Top-notch companies which took part in the university's placements were D-Mart Retail, JSW Paints, TCS Interactive, Enam Holdings, Kantar WPP, Teach for India, ET Now, Kent Health Systems, TransUnion CIBIL, Federal Bank, Khimji Ramdas Inc., UTI Asset Management, Fujitsu India, Lido Learning, Vedanta Resources. 93% of the students got placed in the graduating class of 2020. Lucrative roles were offered to the students like relationship management, logistics and supply chain, banking, business consulting, retail operations, HRM, e-commerce, project management.

Fees and Financial Aid

Studying in FLAME university is expensive. Most of the students go for the scholarships in this case like Merit scholarships at the time of admission, FLAME Fellows Program, Special scholarships through the application, Emergency need-based support. The scholarship awards are not handed to the students directly. Instead, some part of the tuition fee or the entire is waived off.

Campus Life

4.5

Innumerable events are organized both by the students and the officials every year. FLAME fest - the cultural fest of the university attracts a huge amount of participation since it involves a lot of competitions. Peer Mentoring Sessions, seminars and workshops, guest speaker series helped me a lot in terms of academics. I was a member of the FLAME student council for the 2 years and acted as a middle person between the administration and the students.

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

My MBA program was one of the finest programs offered by our institute at such an economical price. We got to visit many MNCs during our corporate visits and interacted with different people. Our college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience.

The campus is good having basic facilities like free Wifi. The campus also has a canteen which serves food during all college hours starting from 8 in the morning. The college has a clean and green atmosphere. The crowd is also good. The college administration is supportive to the students. The chairperson herself organises a session with the students regularly.
