Remarks

The admission process for FLAME University was through the website. I first had to register and take a written test, FEAT and then a GD/PI. The selection for the written test is based on the CAT/GMAT score. My reason for choosing this university over others was the good placement rates. In the year 2017 97% students from our university got placed.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course was MBA, it was of 2 years. The syllabus for the course was pretty much the standard syllabus. But the way the classes were taken was so different. We had a lot of interactive and discussion sessions. The faculty was strict, but were helpful. They made sure that everyone of us interacted in the class.

Placement Experience

4

The campus placements are good. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Amazon and Infosys recruit from our college. The average package offered is 6-7 LA and the highest offered was 11 lpa . During the placements the companies prefer students from the marketing background. Almost 90% students get placed during the on campus placement drive.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee has been the same since last 3 years. It was 1200000 for 2 years. We had scholarships based on academic performance. Also students with high marks in the qualifying exam were also given financial help. We did have an internship as part of the course, and they were paid. However that money wouldnt be enough to pay for the tuition fee.

Campus Life

4.5

FLAME offered me a good campus life. The whole atmosphere of the campus was very nice. We had all the necessary infrastructures like cafeteria, hostels, study rooms, computer labs and library. Our cultural fest is conducted every year in March. And this gave us a chance to show our talents.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The cafeteria and the mess at my university was neat good. The food was of good quality and they were hygienic. The hostels are also good. The rooms are shared by 4 students. The allotment of room is random. We first have to apply for the hostel wile applying for the program.

Placments are really good like 4 students got 12 LPA at crowdstrike after successful internships. I think in our class 20 students got placed from college side and i think it can be improved , the college should give more freedom to students for their preparation rather than focusing on attendence Good companies like Delta Capita, Crowdstrike, Vanderland, Winspire Solutions came to the campus. The placment usually starts from 3rd semeser .

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
