Remarks
I have applied through management quota and the admission criteria was to have the Math subject in the 12th class and graduation as well with 50% of marks in Math in graduation. The student should be passed BCA/BSC(IT) to join the MCA. The student has to attend the KMAT exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have taken the course because the MCA is the one of the courses which can build the career in the technical and non-technical field. Faculty = 28 and Student = 130 Almost 80% of the faculties have done MCA and Ph.D. and the rest of the 20% of faculties have done Btech or MCA only. It was a bit difficult to pass the exam because the student has to score 50% in the practical and theory exam. Both the exam's question was not too easy.
Internships Opportunities
Almost 70-80% of the students got the Internship. The project is based on the companies live project or the live project's task daily basis. Most of the companies are almost tech companies. 5% of the companies are coming for Non-tech hiring.
Placement Experience
From the 4th sem, the students will be eligible to attend the placements. Highest package - 25-30 LPA Average Package - 5-6 LPS Placements rate - 95% A number of companies visited - 70-80 companies. Number of offers made - 70% students
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship was not there for outside Karnataka students. Yes, financial assistance was there. The loan facility is there by the college. I got an internship from the college campus with a stipend.
Campus Life
The annual fest name - 8th Miles. There is a library for all the students in the college for all the departments. For Mca students only, there is a library. Sports and extracurricular facility also there and for all the students. For MCA there is only one group called Coding Club.
Interview Experience
For the GD, they have given one topic to say for 2-3 minutes. I got the topic - Advantages/Disadvantages of Technology. Students can come with attending the PGCET and KMAT exam. I have prepared to practice the aptitude with some math aptitude practice.
