I applied for VIIT through the online submission and confirmation of option from a CAP round I and I have not availed any quota for admission. The admissions criteria for b tech is on the basis of score acquired in MHCET or JEE Main paper, minimum marks for the program is i.e cut off score is 141. The student applying for the above exam should have complete 17 years of age as of the date of the exam.

I wanted to expand my knowledge in the field of engineering at a very young age so after my SSC result I started my preparation for the different engineering entrance exam like MHCET and jee and after my research, I found VIIT was best among them. The permanent faculty: student ratio is 1:60 and the faculty members in the department modulate teaching based on their research experience and strive continuously to become effective facilitator. The teachers are well qualified. Some have PhD degrees and the way they teach is very unique and helpful. The subjects offered in this course are very relevant to the problems and challenges faced in the industry. Also, we are guided very properly by the teachers with proper knowledge. If you are good with concepts and contributed to the project then it's not very difficult to score well in the semester exam.

Form the last semester i.e 8th sem student start to prepare for placements and the company start the recruitment at the end of the last sem. Above 60% of students for a place with an average package of 4 LPA. The highest package offered is 19 LPA and the lowest offered is 3 LPA.

Annual fees for CSE is 185000 for 1st year and 184000 for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. students of OBC, SC, NT and category can Avail scholarship from the college. About 60% of students got a placement with an average package of 4 LPA.

There are different clubs such as Merchantile club, GedIT club, Financial literacy club, trident labs, PIESA club and so on. It has a digital library with 10 Multimedia PC's and online resources. Many sports are played in VIIT such as softball, basketball, badminton, tennis some indoor games like chess, table tennis. Many tournaments are also held at different levels.
