Nice college with great opportunities and I would say some the best faculties around in 'SPPU but the only problem is that it focuses a lot on attendance and they make you wear a uniform every day. The admission process was quite smoothly run by the management, I didn't have any issues during my admission Great opportunities, which were beyond my expectations is the greatest reason why I would suggest this college to others I got to know about this college through my friend
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to choose mechanical since it would give me scope toget a grasp on the basics of all the subjects like electrical and computer in a bit because mechanical stream uses all these aspects in some or the other places and hence giving me an exposure to other subjects The faculty is good and they are dedicated to their jobs but the faculty to students is ratio is actually quite large around 1:40 Exams are moderate not too easy not too difficult
Internships Opportunities
The number of internships offered in the college is good. I assure you that if you ask any teacher for an internship even on the first day of your college they will be delighted to provide you with one and it won't take long for you to get one. The stipend offered by the college is quite good around 10K. To give you a small example there are many internships programs like Dassault projects and some companies in Pune like Nayan electronics also provide internship programs
Placement Experience
The placement of our college is quite good and it seems to me that it is one of the best colleges for placements in Pune. As much as I remember the highest package was around 12L per annum and there was more than 90 percent placement of our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is really high. Because in the first year my fees were 1 lakh but in the second 1.29 lakh. So the fees keep increasing every year quite exponentially. There are many scholarship forms given by our college for eg. SC, ST, economically backward, etc.
Campus Life
The annual fest of the college is set on a grand scale and availability of books and there is a lot educational material in the college with great facilities of machines and real-life working models. Sports and extracurricular activities are available in the college but it is not seen upto a great scale. There are many groups and clubs in the college like Motorsport clubs, robotics clubs, and many more.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are good with tasty and healthy mess food for any Maharashtrian. The hostel and mess is around 70K and it seems quite genuine with the service and the type of food they are providing. The only problem is that they don't allow you to go out on the campus after 10 pm.
