Remarks

Overall my college is private but one of the best college of engineering in west Bengal and cheaper than eng college of Bangalore good atmosphere, friendly faculties nice location of college in kolkata.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is appropriate and as pr GATE. So u can easily study for both semester and competitive exams.

Internships Opportunities

My college does not provide any internship. But for west Bengal native students there is a relaxation in fees.

Placement Experience

Placement is good basically IT companies visit our campus.and they are mass recruiters. Last year 97 % eligible students of mechanical got placed in various companies.

College Events

Many events are celebrated all over the year mainly freshers to welcome 1 st year, daksha, eclecia and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is as per MAKAUT rule and for TFW students relaxation of fees is considered.

Yes loan facility is available by various banks.

Campus Life

College atmosphere is awesome as every engineering college gender ratio is low only 1 girl in my mechanical department. But 55 girl in biotech.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is little bit expensive but quality of accommodation and food is very good.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

There is no such alumni network with senior students.

Exam Structure

Semester wise exams are held in between every semester 2 class test of each subject occurs lab exam are held with final semester exams.

Faculties are very helping, experience n knowledgeable. Always ready to help out students.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college.
