One of the best college in West Bengal

GNIPST is the best college in West Bengal and it is also the first NAAC, NBA accredited autonomous pharmacy college in eastern India under Makaut. It is disciplinary with proper guidance under respected faculties. Infrastructure is also great. I am pursuing my B. Pharma course from this college and having huge placement opportunities. I would recommend this college to students who want to choose Pharmacy as their carrier option. GNIPST truly cares for students from admission to placement. The best thing about this college is an environment which is always favorable for students. It provides a conducive environment for the students for their overall development. Besides this library and so on. Faculty members, as well as the HODs, are very much cooperative and interactive. For students who want to join pharmacy, GNIPST should be the first preference.

Faculty members are very good. They are very polite and cooperative to every student. Every faculty member is highly qualified, knowledgeable. The interaction between teacher and student plays an important role. They help students in their extracurricular activities and try to reduce academic stress. The best thing is each student assigned a mentor for more detailed interaction and guidance. Mentors are extremely caring and helpful. You can literally share each and every problem with them. They also keep in contact with your parents. Practices are conducted systematically. The college maintains discipline and decorum. All the faculty members are working very hard in this pandemic situation so that we can continue our studies. They are literally trying their best by providing us the lecture videos, virtual practical classes, daily class tests, doubt clearing classes, etc.

Placements in our college are quite satisfactory. More than 80% of students get placed from college in well-reputed companies like Nestle’, Eli Lilly, Cipla, Wipro, Novo Nordisk, etc. Students are given opportunities in various sectors like production, pharmacovigilance, sales and marketing, hospital pharmacist. The college has a placement cell which is responsible for inviting firms to the college and guiding the fellow mates in getting placed. Many MNCs head toward our college even before the 4th year final exam. Overall placement is good with proper pre-placement sessions. But recruitment completely depends upon your efficiency, skills and hard work. Each year many students get jobs in different fields of the pharma sector. The placement cell is very active.

All types of necessary instruments and chemicals are available in the laboratory. All kinds of pharmaceutical study-related books, journals are available in the library. E-zone is also available for the welfare of students. Classrooms are very much modern, and projectors are available in each room. Wi-Fi networks are available 24x7. There are three huge playgrounds also present. Along with these it also has a basketball court, football ground, badminton court, and cricket ground so you can do many extracurricular activities along with studies. The whole campus is full of greenery and well organized. The campus life is rich in cultural festivals, sports events all year around. Students organize Saraswati puja, Fresher’s welcome, Teachers day, Viswakarma puja, Pre puja celebration, post diwali celebration, Reunion, annual fest IRIS, and farewell for final year students. Among sports both inter and intra college cricket, football and volleyball tournament are organized by the college.

Separate hostel and accommodation facilities for boys and girls with food, lodging, first-aid facility. The hostels are well organized and cleaned. College gives full facilities to the hostellers, especially for girls there is special protection. Common facilities in the hostel include dining halls. All the workers of hostels including the warden, cooks, and cleaners are very friendly. Even the hostels are also ragging-free. There are security guards who ensure the student’s security 24x7. They keep all the records of each student. The quality of the food which they provide is more than average.24x7 water supplies are there. Cleaners clean each and every room and washrooms every day so the place is very hygienic. The hostel authorities also have strict rules and regulations. They maintain proper timing for being outside. The whole environment is very peaceful and well-disciplined.
