Remarks
The environment and the surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, the infrastructure is amazing, teachers are very professional and experienced, they do their best to make our studies as easy and fun as possible. The sports complex is also very good, all the courts and grounds are well maintained. The library is absolutely amazing, it's big and spacious and a calm and fun place to relax and read a book. But the greenery and the infrastructure are the biggest pros
Course Curriculum Overview
I like animals and plants, generally all wildlife, this course is exactly what I wanted and needed. The syllabus is fun and engaging and the lab visits are very interesting and well conducted. Teachers are all extremely qualified and experienced, they know their subjects and are aware of exactly what the students need and stuff they might find difficult. Studies are fun here. Exams were always conducted in a timely fashion, there were never any delays and the procedure was fairly simple. The difficulty wasn't too much, as everything was from the syllabus, it wasn't hard to pass but it took quite a bit of hard work to score well.
Internships Opportunities
Some companies off the top of my head are nestle, PepsiCo, Alchemist, Patanjali, biogentek, Abbott and many more. Roles range from experience to start ups and later management positions, these companies are always invested in research and positions are always available.
Placement Experience
Generally, in the 3rd-4th semester, students become eligible for campus placements, company recruitments and training start early on. There are literally more than 3 dozen companies recruiting in Shoolini and they have an offer and chances for everyone. About 80-85% of students were easily able to secure placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fee is about 20-25k and hostel charges depend on the time for which the student will be staying there, it generally starts at about 25-30k and increases based on the number of months the student would be staying for. Some semesters also require tuition costs but they depend on the course selected.
Campus Life
It's my first year and the number of extracurricular activities and fest are overwhelming, it's really fun and an enjoyable experience. Everyone participates at least once and they rarely compete, most of the focus is on having a good time. There are dozens of groups and clubs, book clubs, dance club, music club, sports etc. Just to name a few.
Hostel Facilities
The room is big and spacious, there are 2-4 study desks provided based on the room opted by the student, closets provided can easily accommodate all your stuff and view is just amazing. There are 4 meals a day provided in the mess, the menu is good and engaging, there's something different every day although they follow a weekly menu, they're other places to visit and have food, clean and well maintained with affordable costs and amazing food.
