Remarks

The biggest reason to choose this University was that the students are made to stretch out their knowledge and skills at their best. Teachers focus more on practical so that students are able to understand and make use of the particular things in practical and day-to-day life.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As I already said that teachers are really cooperative and knowledgeable as well and this is the thing I like about this University the most. Term exams are taken from time to time whether mid-term or end term.

Internships Opportunities

4

Sundaram Finance,HDFC Bank,ICICI Lombard IFFCO Tokio etc are the companies expected in the forthcoming campus placements drives. Offered roles were HR manager, junior officer etc as per my knowledge.

Placement Experience

4

I haven't been passed out yet. I am still in the second semester of my course so unable to mention any. After getting a degree I am planning to appear for the IFS examination i.e. Indian Forest Services and side by side doing my higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

As compared to other universities, the fee structure is worth it as all the possible facilities are provided to students. Also for the students who cannot afford the fees of a particular course, they are given scholarships, financial assistance, etc.

Campus Life

4.5

As I have taken admission during a pandemic so haven't got any chance to visit the University personally but we have been shown the University virtually and the campus seems so perfect. There are various clubs like dance club, environmental club, etc.

Admission

Entrance

Interview Experience

4

As I AM one of the students who got admission in the year of the pandemic so, the interview was held virtually but accurately. No formalities were made. Topics asked were related to the agricultural department like how many universities come under ICAR, basics of agriculture, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as my father had studied the same course and had the same profession that I'm aiming for. For improvements i would like to recommend more practicals rather than theory classes as, practical knowledge is just as important as theoretical knowledge. The frequency of exams is a problem. There is very less gap between examinations which makes it difficult to prepare for the vast subjects. Plus, the marking is strict, and the criteria to pass the exams are also complicated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good overally but also kind of too much for a student to cover as you got 10-12 courses in a semester to study. The frequency and timing of the exams should be adjusted so that students may got appropriate time to prepare for them
