KIIT is one of the renowned University of India with a world-class campus and a great number of faculty and researchers and has a broad range of curriculum to choose from that can shape the future of students and provides them better opportunities and skills to develop. The admission process is simple and is decided by your rank in KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) conducted by KIIT itself. Course Curriculum Overview
My branch was Electronics and Telecommunication which I have chosen according to my interests and availability of the seats during the admission procedure. The university has 2500 faculty and researchers with 30,000 plus students from all over the world. The faculty staff in KIIT is great and provides excellent standard of teaching and they are highly qualified and hold patents. They also provide separate classes for doubt clearing and are very helpful to students.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, onwards a student is eligible to seat for placements. Before placement, the university prepares students for placements by providing special classes and mock tests that will make them ready for campuses. Last year in 2020, 195 companies visited the campus. 4378+ Jobs were offered. The highest package offered: 30 lakhs. The competition to get placed is very high so one needs to be very well prepared and work really hard to get placed. The placement cell of KIIT is always there to help students with placement related issues.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of b.tech for the year 2016 was 16 lacs which is divided by 1,75,000 per semester. KIIT offers Scholarship programs to various categories of the student according to their knowledge and talent. One of the known scholarship is KIITEE Merit scholarship which provides free education to top 1000 rank holders in KIITEE exam.
Campus Life
KIIT has a huge campus with great infrastructure. It has 23 world-class campuses with 15 sports complexes with swimming pools, 15 food courts and a 25 sq. km Academic Township. The classrooms are spacious and well equipped and completely air-conditioned and provide a great learning environment. We meet here students from across the world with different cultural backgrounds. The university provides a great atmosphere to socialise with people and make new friends. KIIT organises various fests and sports tournaments and dance and talent programs organised by various committees and clubs of the university. These clubs provide great opportunities for students to explore their hobbies, talent and helps them to develop their social skills.
