Remarks

After enquiring to alot of people, graduates from kolkata i got to know that JDBI is one of the bests in kolkata for Bba. I came across many situations that confused me to enroll for other colleges like amity, ilead and bhawanipur. But the response and my past cricketing career my form a boost and i was shortlisted for this college after a great PI round. Later i came to know it had a great fest here named invictus, also the events on daily basis carried out here gives you immense amount of experiences and exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers here in the college are very knowledgeable, and their teaching style is quite insightful, also they are P.hd holders. They are of great help incase you need to solve doubts. The curriculum of our course is quite relevant as it helps in making the students ready for the Industry, in the end, what matter is a proper job.

I am currently pursuing BBA, and I will be graduated in 2021. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 lpa, and the average salary package offered was 2 lpa. The top recruiting companies for BBA were Byjus, Brain & Co, Wipro, ITC, Wow Momos, Tech Mahindra, etc. The top roles offered in our course are Sales Management. Financial analyst, etc.

College Events

Every year during the month of January, there is our annual fest, there is around 3000 visitors in our fest. The college gets sponser's and raise funds through sponsorships. These activities for me personally are very challenging when we step in the real world. Hence we get enormous experience doing these activities for the college as well as managing the event.

Good BCA college with average placements

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students can appear in the campusing programme and sit in interviews. The highest package can be 5 lac PA. The average package is about 3 LPA. More than 65% of students get placements from college. After BCA I'll do MCA from MAKAUT university. Also, the college provides many internships in the 4th and 5th semesters.

Admission:

I applied to the MBA program for which I qualified since I was already a graduate in business administration with 78% marks. I waited for the merit list and once my name was there, I was invited for the counselling round. I am from Asansol, a city in west bengal which is 200 km away from kolkata. So, my parents wanted that I should stay near to my hometown. So that in times of emergency its easy for me to reach my home. Firstly, I applied for BMS (Hons) at St. Xavier's College, kolkata but because of low marks in maths i could make there. Secondly, I also applied for KiiT, Bhubaneswar and luckily i got admission their but they were offering me BBA in Hospitality & Tourism and in this course i was just not interested and therefore i didn't go there. Lastly, I got admission in JDBI. The Admission procedure here is really very smooth and swift. Initially I got a mail stating my admission and all the details and after paying the admission amount later I got a call from the college for document verify and hence the admission was completed. My experience at BBA at J.D.BIRlA

The college infrastructure is good . The then director of the college Mr.Mukherjee is a very inspiring personality and when he used to give a special lecture , everyone would listen to him with concentration . The other faculty is not good . They do not teach in an interactive manner . The lectures were very boring . There were no industry visits .
