Remarks

So basically the reason i chose JDBI is because i am already from Birla high, kolkata which shares the campus with college so i already know the how abouts of the college, their placements, faculty, clubs and events that take place here. Being here and already being a part of this trust made me join this college honestly. Aparr from that this is amongst the best colleges in calcutta be it in any sphere.

Teachers in our college are highly qualified, and they provide extra knowledge for students. Their teaching quality is the best. All provide a suitable environment for study purposes. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready and makes them ready for facing all issues. It may be sometimes they be partial or arrogant but thats okay.

30 % of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Tech Mahinda, ATMA, FIGmd, Mapro, Mswipe, Suzlon, and Byju's visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like sales and executive, are offered to the students.

Events in the JDBI are quite famous, right from day 1, the orientation till the farewell, we have witnessed events which not only gives you exposure and real time industry knowledge but also makes you ready for the challenges that you will going to face when you step into the real world.

Placement Experience:

Yes, there is a placement cell at the university campus. It conducts placement related activities and programs for the students. Students are eligible for the campus placement from the 5th semester. Some companies visit the campus to hire the students. Some of the companies are E&Y, SAP, Deloitte, TCS and they have made total approximately 40 offers out of 100 students. The highest and average package of our university is 28Lakhs and 5-6Lakhs for the role of SDE. The percentage of students getting placements if about 40-45%. The seniors told me that the companies offer good packages to the students. I am in my second year so I do not have much information about it. After completing degree from this university, I'm thinking to appear for GATE examination as I want to do my Master's from IIT's.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student got placement and there is no limitation for placement. There are so many companies visited the campus, such as (amazon, microsoft, JP morgon, TCS , infosys, Oracle , and many more..) , they offer more than 700 to 800 students. The average package of CSE branch is approx 22 LPA and highest package is 82 LPA. There are 80 to 90 percent student who got placed. My plan after getting the job is to work hard and explore the world.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.
