Remarks

This college is one of the top colleges of GGSIPU. The placements provided by this college are very good. The average package was 3.8 LPA in 2019. Students of CSE/IT/ECE got 100 % placements. Many great companies have visited for campus placements like Amazon, Byjus, ZS associates etc. This college is also NBA accredited. The bad aspect of this college is that, Labs are very poorly managed, the apparatus & equipment in labs are very outdated & most of them don't work. Apart from this, everything was above average. The admission process is based on CET(Common entrance test) conducted by GGSIPU. After clearing this exam, the online counselling will be conducted and colleges will be allotted. To get this college, your rank must be under 5000.To get more information, visit this : http://www.bpitindia.com/pdf/admission-broschure-2019-20.pdf

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have not done coding in my school. I was not sure whether I can do coding or not, so I choose this stream ECE. Students from this stream are eligible for placements in coding as well as non coding profiles. Faculty to student ratio is decent, I would say for every 20 students in the class, there is one mentor. With mentor, students could discuss about anything like projects, weak points, problems, guidance etc. This college follows semester system, 2 final exams in one year. Before every final exam, one internal assessment is done. After that, internal practical & external practical are conducted. The difficulty level of every exam is moderate. Every student can score good marks if he or she have studied previous year sample papers one night before exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

The opportunities of getting salaried internship through college are very less. But, students use to search for internships(free/paid/salaried) with their own efforts.I was offered free internship at AAI for trainee profile. This profile was totally based on learning. There were no tasks assigned to me on daily basis.

Placement Experience

4

Student become eligible for placements right after 3rd year of the college. After 2018, The placement records of our college shifted from poor to very good. Companies like TCS & Infosys easily provide offer letters to 60-70 students from the batch. The students from CS/IT/ECE get 100% placements with average package around 4LPA.The highest package in 2019 was 19LPA for cloud support associate profile in Amazon. If I consider all 4 branches (CS/IT/ECE/EEE), the percentage of placements will be around 70%. After I completed my degree from college, I joined TCS as ASE(T) & I am still pursuing in TCS but looking for switch.

College Events

The annual fest of our college was known as corona, I know the name is little scary but this is true. If you are in fest organizing team, you will be skilled with many qualities like self confidence, problem solver, time management, fund management etc. This fest is conducted in the month of February. This college has AC library with all the important books from Indian as well as foreign writers. Magazines & Journals are also provided in the library. Computer systems are also provided in the library. The library could accommodate only 200 students at a time. The classrooms are installed with projectors in 2018, which was a very big improvement in terms of teaching. The classroom could easily accommodate more than 60 students. Coming to the extracurricular activities, This college has football ground, volleyball court, Cricket ground, basket ball court & badminton court. Moreover, there is one indoor game room for TT, chess, carrom board etc. So, to be the part of any team, you have to clear trials for that sport. There were many groups & clubs were created to spread awareness in people like AVARAN, Donate love etc. The co-ordination between teachers and students is very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college is not too expensive. Fee structure consisted book bank fees, tuition fees, university fees & other small expenses. The average fees per year was around 95,000. But Now, the fees structure has been raised by 15%. Now, the average fees is around 1,12,000.Students who top any branch in college get 5-10% relaxation in fees. Students with minority certificate get good relaxation in fees(30-40%). Talking about my placement experience, It was very good. I got placed for TCS in 3rd year of my college. I also got placed for Infosys. The package offered by both of them was 3.6LPA.It has been 1.7 years till I completed my college but still I see mails of Training & placement department for Job assistance for our batch.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility are provided to girls only. Boys from different cities have to go for either PG or rented flat. 2 girls share each room in hostel. The hostel is cheap as it only adds 80,000 to annual fees. For boys, there are plenty of PGs and flats are available in the vicinity of college. Some offers food within rent & some don't. The average rent for an individual will come around 7000 per month.

Admission

To get admission in this college, first you have to appear for CET of GGSIPU. This test was very simple. The moderate level questions from PCM were asked in this test. The result of this test comes in rank format. After result, 3 online counselling will be conducted, so that you can get best college based on your preference. After 3 online counselling, one offline spot counselling will be conducted for those candidates who have not freeze any college in online counselling. In spot counselling also, the chances of getting good college are very high. All the best for your preparation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally enjoy the course a lot. Greek philosophy is by far my favourite subject so far as it's super interesting and actually fun to read and understand. Logic and ethics are also good. They’re challenging but manageable once you get the hang of the concepts. The curriculum is detailed and gives a good foundation if you want to study further in philosophy or related areas like law, civil services, etc. The subjects change every semester so it doesn’t get boring. Exams happen twice a year (end semester), and most of them are okay in terms of difficulty. If you’re regular with classes and practice PYQs, it becomes easier.

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the BCom Hons course curriculum at SBSC around 7 out of 10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. One of the main reasons I chose this course was because it offers a good mix of commerce subjects like Financial Accounting, Business Law, and Corporate Law, along with exposure to Economics and Management, which seemed useful whether I go for MBA or competitive exams later. The first-year subjects felt more like a base, but from second semester onward it started to get a bit more practical. Each subject has 25 marks for internals and 75 for the main exam. Most exams are 3 hours long and subjective, and I’d say the difficulty level is moderate. If you’ve been regular with notes and study the past papers, it’s not hard to pass, but getting 8+ CGPA requires consistent effort. Overall, the curriculum gives a decent foundation but it could be way better if more practical components and industry exposure were added.
